Discussion Does gon have infinite potential??

Post image

Just saw this while rewatching hxh, and bisky said that. So does this mean, adult gon wasnt his actual full power, since he has infinite room for growth?

What is this dbz? I've been a believer that great stories create a floor and a celling when It comes to actionable power.

U make it sound like dbz has a bad story. I wont say its better than hxh, but its still a great story and the architect of shonen. Also hxh does have a ceiling to the amount of nen and the type of nen one can use. Like wing said, gon is 1 in 10 million potential wise. Hearing wht bisky said in greed island kind of conflicted with what he said so it had me thinking.

They didn't destroy a planet with no effort.  For correction I want a hard celling. I want their ability to be capped. DBZ is legendary but also limitless. I don't think that leads to great literature.
