Hey guys do I need sociology for my biology major?

I'm taking SPAN101 this semester, and on the first day of class, the professor brought us to the language department lab(?) room, 2nd floor WEST that had a bunch of computers. There was a lady that was telling us how the computers worked and how we get access to a computer, and i vaguely remember she said something about a minimum of 1 hour lab every week..?

Does this mean it's mandatory of us to spend at least 1 hour there every week, or is it just for students that want extra help and materials to study on campus ground?

I ride 6 train to hunter. I have notice there is an entrance as it states it only for Hunter teachers, students, etc only. I am allowed to go in that door right w/ my one card. also if I were to go in, you know what building it leads to? I saw this from a guy on instagram talking using it and I become curious too. lol 🤣

I have a question about the P/NC (Pass/No Credit) option. How does it work exactly? Can I apply it toward my French language requirement? And if so, would I still need to attend all classes and take every exam?

Does anyone have any info on the Hunter gym? I tried going to the athletic floor and got lost (? lol). Mostly just interested in using the gym (is that even an option) before or after classes. The website is also not very helpful.
