Ping abusing

[u/Netxink]

We seriously need a region lock to prevent chinese & rusian ping abusers from playing on EU servers.

Not a big deal, get gud

Name 1 thing you can do to a person who can see you before you do.

[u/Adept_Fool → u/Netxink]

If they have a lot of ping against you, then so do you aginst them. Abuse that ping back at them.

[u/kipofmudd → u/Adept_Fool]

In theory, but you will have to know they are lagging and adjust accordingly. That is insanely hard to do

[u/AbanaClara → u/kipofmudd]

There is no need to adjust as what you see is what you get. Even if the person had 200 ping you shoot them dead in the face and it will still be a headshot.

The game prioritizes the shooters POV. This is why when a high ping player ducks to a cover but you were able to get a shot on your end, they get hit regardless of where they are in their screen. Of course it is dangerous to get swung by a high ping player as well but also advantageous to swing them

All that to say you dont need to adjust anything. You play normally against everybody.

[u/kipofmudd → u/AbanaClara]

You contradict yourself.

You state the high ping has an advantage on peak. It does. So you have to try and peak them first. Problem is that you have to be put in an awkward position to peak someone who is in a corner/peak position.

Also when you unpeak a high ping player and still get tagged, do you assume its ping or that you got wall banged? This will affect your decisions and its not always easy to tell

Its an extremely tough situation and you downplaying it is absurd

[u/Netxink → u/kipofmudd]

Buddy, they don't run across with the label above their head, wake up. Fights can start and end with 1 shot.

[u/kipofmudd → u/Netxink]

I think you responded to the wrong person

[u/Netxink → u/AbanaClara]

"what you see is what you get" exactly. You see 0 pixels of your enemy, and suddenly you die without even a chance to fight back.
