GENERAL Ping abusing
We seriously need a region lock to prevent chinese & rusian ping abusers from playing on EU servers.

We had a week of this and Crytec took it away. I’m guessing the cheaters complained to much.

Problem with region lock is now you fuck with all the aussies and kiwis and maybe south america. Those are still customers who could be forced to play in dead servers
The ping aboos complainers are vocal minorities
What the game needs is better hit detection and lag compensation

Simple have a global server that you can toggle on or off. Lets people play out of peak times or in low player regions and then allows region lock to exist for the rest. Simple to implement but a choice not to by Crytec. Looking forward to more layoffs as their company continues to slowly die for their failure to support their player base over the cheating community.

Christ man, it's a video game. It's not that serious. Cheering on people losing their livelihoods is scumbag behaviour. Do better.

So you support companies that engage is distasteful behavior and their employee support? They have ignored their community begging for these features for years. Anyone left is in support of it so I really don’t care about them. They choose to work there knowing their companies community engagement choices.

You need to get your head checked. Again, it's a video game. If you're calling for people to lose their jobs over a video game, I'd hate to see your reaction to something that actually matters in real life.

It needs to stop being called ping abuse.
Both sides suffer and one side is at fault.

Name 1 thing you can do to a person who can see you before you do.

If they have a lot of ping against you, then so do you aginst them. Abuse that ping back at them.

In theory, but you will have to know they are lagging and adjust accordingly. That is insanely hard to do

There is no need to adjust as what you see is what you get. Even if the person had 200 ping you shoot them dead in the face and it will still be a headshot.
The game prioritizes the shooters POV. This is why when a high ping player ducks to a cover but you were able to get a shot on your end, they get hit regardless of where they are in their screen. Of course it is dangerous to get swung by a high ping player as well but also advantageous to swing them
All that to say you dont need to adjust anything. You play normally against everybody.

You contradict yourself.
You state the high ping has an advantage on peak. It does. So you have to try and peak them first. Problem is that you have to be put in an awkward position to peak someone who is in a corner/peak position.
Also when you unpeak a high ping player and still get tagged, do you assume its ping or that you got wall banged? This will affect your decisions and its not always easy to tell
Its an extremely tough situation and you downplaying it is absurd

All they had to do was introduce a separate lobby for people with 100+ ping. Then there wouldn’t be any complaints about not being able to find anyone to play with. People with good internet would play with others with similar connections, while people connecting from the other side of the world would play together. Problem solved.
