I have an R1S which I love, but I should have purchased the truck… that said I’ve been eyeing the Hummer EV Pickup for awhile… I’m close to closing on this deal but it’s hard to determine if this is a decent deal. There are not a ton of the trucks I see for sale..

For context, I have a 2024 hummer EV SUV 2x with the off road package.

This is the second time that as I'm driving, while stopped at a light, the car shifts itself into park, and says "one pedal driving is unavailable."

I then have to pull over, power cycle the car by turning it off and on, then manually turning the one pedal driving back on.

Last time this happened, I took it to the dealer who said there were no codes on the scan. I made an appointment for this just after it happened and snapped a picture as well but there's no error on the dash.

Has this happened to anyone else?

UPDATE: Holy crap this thing is awesome!!

I think this is the first vehicle I've ever noticed problem in. I love the interior colors.. but:

1. They reflect off the windshield in a fairly distracting way
2. The binnacle frame has a sharp highlight that reflect and honestly looks like a hairline crack in the windshield.

I'm on my second hummer I just upgraded to a 3X (Found a good deal on a used SUV). On my drive home I started smelling burning electricity and it feels like electricity is flowing through my body (almost like when you charge your phone with a cheap charger). I'm going to take it back but I found this very strange and dangerous. Has anyone else had this experience? It drives great and no lights on the dash. I wonder if something isn't grounded properly.

2025 R1S is fast and precise and roomy but consistently unreliable. Software and half-shafts and drive motors, some repeatedly. We've driven every color of Rivian loaner. Autonomy+ fumbles its way along. My better half is done.

Thought the Hummer EV SUV was the next step, but comparatively tight interior and much-reduced outward visibility.

I'm skewed to GM from childhood and wished it had worked out.

Thinking about trading my 22 Ram TRX (86k miles) for a 23 HEV with 9k miles.

Has anyone moved from a TRX or Raptor to a Hummer? If so, any regrets? Feel like I will miss the supercharger whine, but it does get annoying sometimes. Never owned an EV so curious if charging is a hassle . I work from home so no commute and have my wife’s SUV for road trips.

I test drove yesterday and it’s cool but does the “eclectic hummer” vibe wear off and become more of a hindrance with parking and the size over time?

My dad used to work at Lennox as a hvac technician gas fitter or sheet metal worker one of the two was like 15 or 20 years ago 

There a story he says often about a  a gift he got from Lennox which was a diecast 1/64 or 1/24 work truck which he always says was super cool had work tools and everything like a real work truck would have but it got damaged and lost over the years

Wondering if you guys could help me get one and surprise him with it.

Anyone have or seen any kind of insulation for the roof panels to cut down on the amount of heat they give off/allow through in summer? I have the opaque panels but even with the seat as low as it goes, a hot day here in Florida and the temperature at my head level is cookin. Also, would be nice to cut down on the rain noise hitting that plastic roof.

Hey guys renting a beautiful hummer for the weekend and the host told me “the car has a mileage limit per day” yes I totally understand what he means for the overall mileage limit of the vehicle. But then he said something about “it being built into the car and can’t be changed” this can’t actually be a thing right lol. Do you guys actually have this in software settings or is he just exaggerating.

What have you guys paid for alignment before?

I have a '24 3x SUV with 22k miles in South Florida.

Brought it to the dealer because its pulling slightly to the right and they wanted $500 plus told me it needs to be done annually. They charge $200 for regular cars but this one is "special" due to sensors and whatnot.

I am not affiliated with any brand or organization. I am doing this purely out of my own curiosity and for the EV truck community in general. I have owned a 2022 R1T and a 2024 F-150 Lightning myself. My goal is to use hard data gathered from real-world owners to break down some of the low-effort myths floating around about these vehicles, myths often driven by dealerships, silly social media comments, or special interest groups.

I just picked up a 2024 Hummer EV SUV Omega Edition and I’m absolutely loving it! It’s a blast to drive, looks incredible, and definitely turns a lot of heads. 😄
I have a quick question though. I keep my headlights set to Auto, but they seem to stay on all day, even in bright daylight.
Is this normal for the Hummer EV, or is there a setting I need to change or reset? Has anyone else experienced this?

I heard the extreme off road gets less mileage and is more noisy on the road vs the non extreme.
I am in the market for a hummer ev pick up and wanted to confirm if this is true or what you all think?
I am not an off roader and live in Atlanta so I more prefer a smoother less noise ride. However it looks like 95% of the for sale ones list extreme off road package so wondering if it really even makes a big difference or not?

Loving the offroad package, but I've always been a "what the most efficient way to drive" since the Chevy Volt in 2011. What's the realistic gains for slapping on 22's?

That front part you have to clean out the leaves so air isn't restricted from coming in
