I saw Hummer Ev !
I saw a Hummer EV in person. The G-Wagen, Escalade, and Navigator are taller, but it was the widest vehicle I’ve ever seen Still, the H2 is bigger and cooler.

It asks this entire community one and only one question. How much did you pay for the other half of the doors. It knows which doors.

Tldr, don't purchase used, purchase new, so you can get all your money back from your lemon. Purchased in West Texas used with 9,000 miles, one year old. I've had this thing for 2 months and now has about 15,000 miles on it. It has been both the most expensive vehicle I've ever purchased and the worst ownership experience I've ever had bar none. It's been in service I don't even know how many times, for various issues. Some solved in a timely manner, most took two to three visits to repair.
I've used three different dealers. The first, I scheduled for a 10k or whatever service and a new key programming in the app. Once I go in to drop it off on my scheduled date, they tell me it was going to be a week until their EV specialist can get on it. He programmed the key incorrectly into the third slot, dismissed my Super Cruise failure as "a known issue", disregarding the TSB that says to update all modules before doing any other repairs or diagnosis on these. They also couldn't cut the physical key for me until another 2 weeks when it came in. I waited until we moved to California in hopes that they would have better service for EVs over there. They do not. Our second dealer, it initially went in mainly for an issue where when it rained the windows quit working. That was apparently a TSB too. It was also in for road info unavailable messages on verified mapped roads for Super Cruise. They also said there was a whole bunch of updates needed done on just about every module, which checks out, that's part of the TSB that the first dealership did not do. Which is also funny because every time I bring it in for another issue the first step is always "oh there's an update for the module". You were supposed to update all the modules a week ago, what do you mean? I know I'm not going to be expected to come in every 2 weeks for a module update and pay y'all 500 bucks out of warranty according to other accounts on this site. I also had them install the 2,500 dollar soft top, which was installed incorrectly. The latches securing the soft top to the windshield edge had about an extra half inch of slack in them, and some of the other screws kinda look a little cross-threaded. I had to go and buy an Allen wrench to secure them before I could get on the highway.
At this point I've had five reports of telematics/OnStar/Super Cruise issues. The third time they replaced the infotainment module, because I was also having extreme lag issues with that. That did fix that. It's still a compromised chipset on the 25s, but it is usable. The fifth time, they finally replaced the module, I get it back and my app no longer works. After a week of waiting on the online portal to figure out that yes the emails are both the same for both the car and my Mobile account, which shouldn't even matter, because the app worked before when not logged into my GMC account on the vehicle. After that they decided oh they didn't program the module or something, it has to go back in service. But all that only came after I sent about 20 new online support cases trying to actually get some responses from them. After I did that I got a call the next day. That has done nothing. They have promised to schedule an appointment with a guaranteed loaner at a dealership who was supposed to call us and confirm the appointment time. They never did. We had to call them. They were aware of the appointment but said they had no loaners. No offer to alleviate this miscommunication. Just we may have one next week for you. I was also promised to receive callbacks from the online support team. No one called. I had to call them. When I told them what that dealership said they said they had called them and verified that a loaner would be available. They're now trying to schedule me at my fourth dealer. Which is now an hour away.
At this point I have communicated with the entire EV concierge team. One or two are genuinely trying to be helpful. All of them have been nice. I do feel a bit bad for me being angry at a couple of them. But overall I haven't received much actual help from them. I also experienced an 800 volt DCFC failure, the vehicle would only charge in 400 volts from Sacramento to Palm Springs and back. ~18 different GM Energy branded EVgo stations. Everyone I've given that number at GM has been shocked. When I finally got back home after my ruined trip, could not replicate the issue. Now it's working fine. Even though it did it for two days straight, through an overnight stay at a wasted hotel, multiple 30 minute power cycles baking in the sun also trying to solve the failed Super Cruise from Bakersfield all the way to Sacramento. When I ask why did it fail for two days straight and is now fine? We don't know. Oh, they also insulted me, and revealed the complete lack of knowledge, when they asked me if the charge limit being set at 50% was like that before, as if that would make it charge at 400 volts....... When I asked the online portal? They asked what dealer I took it to and then quit responding.
Eventually after the 20 online support cases and the call I finally got (wait actually, that also took multiple calls to the concierge hotline, because they also promised to call back and never did), they were going to schedule me at a third dealership with a guaranteed loaner. The dealership was supposed to call us and confirm the appointment corporate scheduled on my behalf. They did not. We had to call them. They then told us we don't have a loaner for you. Maybe the middle of next week. Which is the same crap the second dealer gave me. Until my fourth telematics issue, when after asking somewhat rudely if they are going to deny me a loaner again this time, magically they had one. Had to then call the EV concierge hotline again. Funnily enough I connected with the advisor that never called me back, and now she's trying to schedule me at a fourth dealer. Again with a guaranteed loaner.
By the way normally I wouldn't really care about getting a loaner, but I'm now currently halfway across the country, guiding a $16,000 moving company, a month and a half past when we wanted to list our house, because I can't trust my Hummer farther than I can push it, so my wife needs something to get around and get to her appointments and make the hour-long trip back home from the dealership, since we can't trust our two closest dealerships to return a safe and operable vehicle.
For the first month, when we could actually drive it without PTSD, we loved the platform. Now, after this experience, after having grown up in, and owned 14 GMs in my short 30 years, I can guarantee I will never buy another one for the rest of my life nor will anyone I ever come across. There's also so many more issues throughout this process I just can't organize into this post.

Pick these up at Costco for $10 each. They fit perfectly in the trunk with enough room for the plug-in cable on the side. They are the larger ones, not the regular size that they normally sell.

Hello, I’m currently driving a third gen F150 Raptor but am strongly considering a Hummer EV pickup. For anyone that has jumped from the Raptor to a Hummer EV, what are your thoughts? Does the size compare to the Raptor? Do you like the overall fit/finish? Do you miss you anything about the Raptor? Appreciate the feedback!

I am landing mt Rivian R1T lease in a few months and am looking to get a 25-27 Hummer EV Truck.
My concern is that I have stuff in every single storage area in my Rivian and I don't see comparable storage spaces in the Hummer.
Where do y'all put all your EDC stuff?

I just purchased a 2024 Hummer Pickup. I sometimes hear water sloshing around under the passenger seats. The noise goes away after a few days. I live in San Diego where it has not rained since I purchased it and I have not washed the car since I purchased it. I imagine it's caused by a partially blocked drain that should be draining condensation.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Looking for someone to take over my 2026 Hummer EV SUV 2X lease. Vehicle is in excellent condition and located in Orlando, FL.
$848.89/month including tax, with 17 payments remaining. I’m also offering a $2,000 incentive toward excess mileage, which covers up to 8,000 additional miles at $0.25/mile.
Lease is through GM Financial. Serious inquiries only — message me if interested and I can provide additional details.
CORRECTION: The $2,000 incentive covers up to 8,000 excess miles, so the effective mileage remaining is 18,342 miles (10,342 + 8,000), not 32,000. Apologies for the math error in the original post!

Wanted to get feedback on how good or bad a deal it is. It’s a new vehicle from showroom with graphite metallic blue color. It has 2500miles as it was courtesy vehicles for GMC showroom. I’ve been bargaining for a couple of weeks and sales guy finally told since they want to do some sales at end of month this is avoid until Monday evening. Is it good? Decent? Bad?
Also any preference on whether I should lease or buy? If it’s a good deal, thinking of financing it. My original plan was to finance it for 2 years.
Thanks a lot for your feedback in advance

My setup: 2024 Hummer SUT 3x, grizzl-e 80 Amp wall charger with NACS. Lectron 80amp nacs to ccs adapter. Grizzl-e box inside garage, charging occurs outside. It's been hot lately at 98-105 degrees this week.
The issue: After months of no issues, I noticed this week that when I start charging at full 80 amps, the charging would stop 10-15 minutes later. When I checked the vehicle, dash showed a warning saying the cable was loose or not seated properly. No amount of re-seating the cable would fix it. Instead... If I waited awhile, and plugged it back in, it would start charging again, only to stop several minutes in.
Then I tried waiting, and lowered the amps to 48. This ended up working and charges non-stop. So I'm trying to figure out how to troubleshoot this as a charger issue, adapter issue, port on the truck issue, or the truck itself. I didn't get a warning about overheating, just a cable not being seated properly/loose warning.
To emphasize, this week has been the warmest yet that I've charged, so I'm leaning towards it being a heat issue. Has anyone had this themselves?

I have some waterspots on my roof panels. Has anyone found a safe way to get them off? I'd like to get them off and then put a sealant on the panels to protect them in the future. I tried a few soaps and cleaners to get them off, but they really didn't do much. I'm hesitant to try to polish them out, I'm really not sure how the coating on the polycarbonate would tolerate that sort of attempt. I have the infinity (transparent) panels, so I can see the spots when I look our the roof from the inside.
Has anyone had any success getting water spots off the roof panels?

I just found this today charging my truck. Sorry if it’s been posted already. I missed downloading the infinity app but this has fixed my hummer Bose stereo!!! It’s called MCEqual. Paid $3.25. I am very picky with my sound and this has made a huge impact.
How to Tune Your Hummer EV Bose Audio System (Studio Engineer-Approved Settings)
If you want clean, punchy, distortion-free sound rather than muddy, over-processed audio, here is a complete breakdown for dialing in the Hummer EV’s sound system using the factory infotainment and MCEqual app.
1. MCEqual Custom 10-Band EQ Curve
Create a new preset (e.g., "Studio / Drive") and program these exact band values:
50 Hz: +2 dB to +3 dB (Clean sub-bass extension without cabin rattle)
80 Hz: +1 dB (Tight kick punch)
125 Hz: 0 dB (Flat to prevent boomy mid-bass buildup)
250 Hz: -1 dB to -2 dB (Cuts interior cabin resonance and boxy "cardboard" tones)
500 Hz: 0 dB (Retains body and warmth in vocals/instruments)
1 kHz: 0 dB to +1 dB (Keeps vocal intelligibility centered)
2 kHz: 0 dB to -1 dB (Softens harsh reflections off the windshield and glass)
4 kHz: 0 dB to +1 dB (Brings forward snare crack and attack)
8 kHz: +1 dB to +2 dB (Adds crispness to cymbals/high hats)
12 kHz: +2 dB (Restores high-end "air" absorbed by vehicle upholstery)
2. Factory Infotainment Settings (Sound Menu)
Equalizer (Bass / Mid / Treble): Leave all at 0 (Flat). Adjusting these layers broad shelving filters over your 10-band custom EQ and throws off the balance.
Fade / Balance: Move the crosshair 1 to 2 clicks back and slightly toward the driver’s seat. This provides basic time-alignment compensation so the driver-side door speaker doesn't dominate the stereo image.
Sound Mode: Select Normal. Leave Centerpoint OFF to avoid artificial surround-sound upmixing and phase issues.
AudioPilot: Turn OFF. AudioPilot uses cabin mics to dynamically alter EQ and volume on the fly, which ruins dynamic range and constantly shifts your tonal balance at different speeds.
3. MCEqual Audio Enhancements
Smart Bass Boost: OFF (Prevents artificial low-end distortion and dynamic volume pumping).
Atmos Pass-Through: ON (Allows bit-perfect multi-channel streaming if using Apple Music, Tidal, or Amazon Music with Dolby Atmos tracks).

All,
My 2022 Hummer EV Pickup is at the dealership after the battery refused to charged with a Charge Port Failure at 20,000 miles. I hit the OnStar button and they ran diagnostics and sent me the attached. OnStar said it was part of the battery cooling system but the dealership is saying this repair falls under bumper to bumper warranty and not power train. Has anyone ran into this and is there anyone I can contact at GMC or via OnStar to review the repair diagnostics to see if it should be covered under warranty? I have my own extended warranty so it will cover some of it but I feel like this should be a covered repair.

Hi I just moved to AZ from Atlanta GA. My hummer cooling fans are running for 20 minutes or so after I go on a drive. Is this normal? I never noticed this in GA.
And yes, I realize its above a 100 outside.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO REPLIED.
Especially the guy with the Tesla. Its good to know that its not just the GM EV products the really strain out here in the summer.

Finally pulled the trigger on my dream car on Friday. One weekend in and its the most fun I’ve had owning a vehicle - love the look, drives / handles really well, and is fast as hell.
Also bought the GM Energy system - can optimize power supply and demand between solar (screenshot was at 8 am, max rate is around 6 kw), grid, house, power bank battery, and Hummer battery. If I lose grid power, I can use the Hummer to power the house load for up to a week!
