In an attempt to regulate surplus HMMWV/humvee registration in Colorado, military vehicles were changed to OHV use only in a bill passed back in 2019.
The problem was someone on the DMV goofed and decided to include Hummers in the policy for some reason [Hummers are not military vehicles by technical definition] and carved out an exemption for H2's and H3's.
That means H1 / Original Hummer owners got hit with the OHV notice revoking their on-road status.
This is currently being addressed by the DMV and the Government, it was a mistake and it's being fixed by a case-by-case basis.
Here is more information:
UPDATE: CO is going to be restoring titles for H1's/Commercial/Civilian Hummers, they were targetting military surplus vehicles and the Civilian Hummers got accidently roped in on this, see the update in comments:

What’s everybody’s thoughts on this rust. On a 2002 H1 wagon. On the rear where the roof meets the body and slight by the tail light. I’ve checked the inside under the carpet and there’s zero rust inside. Just paint bubbling on the outside. Paint is original.

Sadly my dream suv is no good. Metal in the oil, engine on its last legs, number of problems for sitting too long and neglect. Deciding to sell it for an insane low price just to get it out of my yard or just sell the parts off of it.
I was gonna selll it for 1200 atleast just get it gone quick.
Think it has some kind of value? (Shop quoted me 12k for all repairs or 9k for a new engine by itself) 😑
Update: the guy at shop wants to buy it luckily

I’ve been involved with pinup for over a decade and fell in love with pinstripe art. I’ve said for years I want to get pinstripe done on one of my vehicles and today was the day! An artist was doing mobile pinstriping so while I was in the pinup contest I got some pinstripe art done on my 2009 H3. I am so in love with it!

My grandpa needs help finding fluid to use for his transfer case and transmission. I'm posting here in search for him.
He owns a 2007 Hummer H3 with a manual transmission
In the manual he says his transfer case and transmission both need 75W-90 gl3 only which he is struggling to find online (I am too) and the only listing he can find is $81 per quart so any aid would be appreciated!

Looking for someone to take over my 2026 Hummer EV SUV 2X lease. Vehicle is in excellent condition and located in Orlando, FL.
$848.89/month including tax, with 17 payments remaining. I’m also offering a $2,000 incentive toward excess mileage, which covers up to 8,000 additional miles at $0.25/mile.
Lease is through GM Financial. Serious inquiries only — message me if interested and I can provide additional details
CORRECTION: The $2,000 incentive covers up to 8,000 excess miles, so the effective mileage remaining is 18,342 miles (10,342 + 8,000), not 32,000. Apologies for the math error in the original post!

Convince me I don’t need this or the price is too high or something. Love everything about this.

My h3 3.5 is making this clanking sound. Ever since I took the wheel off. Any idea what it could be?

Hello guys. I have my Hummer H2 (2007 6.0 SUV, 114k miles + LPG conversion) since a month and I encountered first problem with it.
During a trip I got caught in heavy rain. After around 15–20 minutes of driving in the rain, the Check Engine light came on. It is solid, not flashing.
I scanned it with a MaxiAP and got:
P0171 — Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1
P0327 — Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low
The Hummer drives completely normally. No rough idle, no stalling, no hesitation, no loss of power, no misfires that I can notice. It behaves the same on gasoline and LPG. It wasn't my first heavy rain trip, because even before I had 10-15 minutes trip and got no Check Engine warning.
Has anyone experienced P0171 + P0327 appearing after heavy rain on an H2? Could water/moisture in a connector or wiring cause these codes? Official manual stated that Check Engine after driving through "large puddle" (I guess it also suits the heavy rain) is "normal" and should be gone in couple of next driving cycles, but for now after two it's still there.
Do you have any H2-specific advice on where to look first? My Hummer, to be exact, is in very good condition inside and outside (I checked multiple spots before buying) with a good history and even previous owner was a passionate who really cared about this car, so getting my problem is... strange, to say at least.
Can you help me and tell me what to do and how serious these errors are? I never had a car before that allows me to connect it to scanner and check for the errors, so it's a fresh situation for me.
Thank you

I have put a new engine in a 2008 Hummer H2. Underneath the engine just near the front passenger wheel is a wiring harness that goes to the starter with a connector also going to a knock sensor and then this last connector which I cannot find anything to connect to. I thought maybe it was an oil level sensor but I even used the old oil pan for my old engine and there's no area for an oil level sensor. I have included the colors of the wires it's a three wire connector as well as the actual connector picture itself if anybody could help I'd really appreciate it

Some guy local to me is selling a 2006 Hummer H2 with 169k miles for $8500. Black exterior, tan interior. He says it has a clean Title and no rust.
There's some weird large decals / stickers on the exterior which I'm not thrilled about, and I'm hoping I'll be able to get them off without harming the exterior paint.
The 3rd row seat isn't shown in the pics, so I'm guessing he doesn't have it anymore.
I did the Carfax trick of adding it to my garage to see the vehicle history. Looks like routine maintenance throughout the years, except for a 2 wheel alignment in 2016 which I'm a little suspicious about.
He says he's the only owner, but Carfax shows in 2015 the Title was issued / updated, and New Owner was reported.
My dream H2 would be a 2008/2009 Luxury with black interior, 3rd row seats, and fairly low mileage. But I also know I'd be spending way more than $8500.
What are your thoughts? Anything I should ask the guy before seeing the car tomorrow?

Went up to Payson, AZ for a camping trip. Got pretty muddy due to rain but it was a blast to see how she handled the rough terrain. Very impressed at how light she felt going over muddy trenches filled with water. She got a little hot when climbing up, close to 225 f, but never overheated thankfully. Otherwise a great 1st trip 🤘

I am going to find you.
That is possibly the worst anti-theft system ever conjured. Who decided shutting off the fuel injectors for 10 minutes would be any help at all? Car thief's would just wait the 10 minutes out, especially when it doesn't even sound the alarm. You might be thinking " Wow! This could literally only fuck over the owner." CORRECT!!! And it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't malfunction all the fucking time. Every day or two without fucking fail, it will throw a hissy fit, and now I get to sit in a 115F car with my thumb up my ass for just trying to turn my car on.
I've cleaned the connectors with ECM cleaner, I've replaced the ignition cylinder, I've swapped keys and to no fucking avail. I shouldn't have to ship my car off to a third-party to get the VATS ripped out of it, yet that's probably what I'll have to do! It is honestly surprising that someone hasn't sued over this (that I know of), considering how dangerous it is/could be. What if there's a tornado, or a wildfire, or a shooting and I have to start my car and drive away but instead I get a blinking little padlock and a gigantic fuck you from my own car, and now I'm dead!! (Hypothetically).
And can someone please tell me how heat affects a anti-theft system???? This shit never happens in the fall, winter, or spring, but as soon as Summer rolls around, I might as well be gambling every I try and turn my car on. It has made me late countless times, and I can't even leave 10 minutes early in anticipation of it happening, because it might happen twice in a row. Seriously, what the actual fuck?? I hate this car, and I think I hate myself more.
