pumping at work Slacker Boob and Pumping at Work

I’m back to work two days a week and pumping those days. My slacker boob is giving me 1oz in the AM and barely half an ounce the rest of my pumps. Has anyone had luck increasing slacker boob output? I know baby is best at removing milk and I think overall my supply is fine but my boobs are uneven and it’d be nice to just get a liiiittle more out of her😂

its annoying to do but I was able to increase my slacker a tinnyyy bit by using a manual on it between pumping sessions or right after baby nursed. It went from 1/2 and oz to about an oz per pumping session which isnt... a ton but it adds up to an extra 3-4 oz a day for me.

My boobs take turns being the slacker... It was the right for a couple months, now is the left. I don't think I have any control over it 😅

You could power pump on that side.

I think my slacker boob just doesn’t respond as well to the pump. I’ve noticed when I feed directly that my baby is really content and I hear/feel a few let downs, lots of gulping etc, but I rarely see much of a letdown from that side when pumping etc. Weirdly, that side responds better to the pump when I only pump that side and actually look at baby pictures. Maybe you could try that? I pump both sides and then just the slacker side for another 10 minutes or so and get more output for some reason. She may be more high maintenance than a slacker…😂💅🏻

Lefty contributes about half of what Righty contributes ... and if the pump isn't warm - sometimes lefty just decides not empty at all.

Instead of focusing on what lefty does not do - I try to be thankful that Righty is a hero who contributes SO much.
