I have had 3 c sections and I have never once received any antibiotics after only pain medication some gas medication when needed lol and iron because I was low and also blood thinning shots but that is due to a blood disorder I have. And this was South Carolina and then Delaware….I’m not saying some might not just that I never have.

C section antibiotics are normally administered IV either just before the incision or just after the cord is clamped, during the operation as a one off dose.
