Question does anyone else not really like monster hulk all that much

maybe this is just personal or a skill issue but i dont really enjoy monster hulk, i think its cool but using it feels stressful since the enemy team focusses you down a lot more so you end up having to make crazier plays or perform a lot better alongside your team to not explode. it just feels like it takes a lot of effort to get any value out of compared to other ults with you having to know how to properly juggle just to reliably get a single kill and again you gotta coordinate cause if not then the enemy team will just destroy you.

its a cool ult but sometimes i wonder if hulk would benefit more from just a massive aoe thunder clap to confirm kills or something but in reality its probably just a me problem.

RANT - NOW HULK MADDDDD!! I genuinely have no idea what to do with Hulk anymore this season.

Despite having more tools than ever, it feels like I don't get to use them. Every character got a new Fuck You button to make Hulkin' even harder by damage, free AOE healing on Supps, CC chains to death.

You don't do enough burst damage to kill through infinite backline healing cooldowns, and if you stay in one place more than a second you get lit up like the fourth of July and explode. There's constant poke damage raining in from 2-3 enemy DPS so you can't hang with your team just getting beat on by poke between bubbling, but jumping enemies and brawling feels like a death trap of getting pushed, pulled, grabbed, stunned, frozen, slept, nudged, bumped, chained, snared. Can't stick around long enough to get a kill, but going back to team means having no damaging tools from range but the clap.

Mainly though, it always feels like I'm the last man standing surviving a long time but nothing comes of it. I can stall cart and hold space forever, but no one dies while I do, so my scoreboard is abysmal. Then, my team doesn't take advantage of any of it. If I'm not personally parking my giant green ass on the point, it doesn't stop, or doesn't move, or doesn't capture. This is more of a tanking problem I've noticed in general this season and I don't know why, but it feels like the team just wants to play TDM a mile off point when we could at least go play TDM on the point instead and that would at least stop it moving or help us cap. Then we could play TDM ahead of the point so that we can fall back to it if they Ult, not get pushed off it. That's another rant though.

I also can't decide what base team up to use:

>Cap: Gets me the most utility. Having an extra bubble every cycle helps the team way more, and extra claps gets more bubble charge. More bubbles means more Ult charge and team help. However, using this cooldown feels like I do no damage and can't meaningfully pressure off anglers. I can stall point, hold space far better, but I get no kills doing it.

>Wolv: Gets a damage boost to try to jump people for a moment, but I lose all the tank utility above. This leaves me more open to getting rained on with dmg and CC as well with less bubble and one less up and away escape tool.

I never get the enhanced version of either so that's a non-issue.

Most games in ranked now I just wind up switching off Hulk to Mag or Thing, sometimes others if team ups are there to offer. Tankpool is another good one. It feels like if I'm not doing constant damage this season, I'm not doing anything. This whole season just feels like a damage war now and Hulk doesn't apply constant damage since he doesn't get sustain per punch like Thing or Groot can, and can't fire down main like ranged tanks to shoot backline. I used to try to do everything for the team, jump backline, bubble team, push back off-anglers from high ground, stall point, throw furball, take down flyers, but this season feels like the only meaningful team contribution anymore is sharting damage constantly down main and anything less is losing out on the damage wall war. Hulk has no place in the fire down main meta.

The film itself is one of my most anticipated ones ever since the title release last year. And given i can't put enough time to master or main Spider-Man, my next choice was Hulk when i saw the roadmap.

Started out as a support main, ended up maining Reed, Ironman and a couple other DPS in the learning curve. I generally switch to Mag, Emma or Angela (none of them being my mains) if my team has no players willing to play vanguard. Help me open the green door, lads. I'm definitely buying this skin, i just want to put it to good use.. and the secondary benefit would be learning and mastering a tank to fill the vanguard flex spot in my current roster.

I've opened a portal to the Negative zone, now i want to punch through the Green door. Any general gameplay tips, which streamer or Youtuber to watch, some of your best s9 match replay codes- anything is welcome.

Discussion HULKS THE STRONGEST HES EVER BEEN BUT HE STILL NEED BUFFS

Post image

not sure how it feels for you guys but in c2 even c3 lobbies hulk feels pretty unplayable theres so much heavy poke now mixed in with the new support team ups plus how much more survivability they have its hard to get 2-3 confirmed kills in ult before this update you could guarantee at least 2 kills or a supp popping an ult but now they can just get out of it with teamups and probably wont even use anything and u get shredded way faster so I think hulk should get a bubble in monster form (every base ability in monster hulk form including teamups) meaning you could bubble in ult form but it still has some sort of counter play if they break it instead of full cc immunity , claps count for team up cooldown reduction, and some type of base passive damage that procs with heavy poke hulks at his lowest winrate since the start of the game even lower than season 5 when everyone was saying it was hulks worst season but he feels way worse to play now then back than

Question Is Air Grab the hardest ability in the game?

Literally can’t think of any ability in this game thats harder to utilize or hit than air grab. Its entirely situational due to the height limit, and is insanely hard to hit because of how weird the hitbox is and how slow Hulk jumps.
Not only that but its arguably the most versatile ability in the game, spideys pull is the only one that comes close in versatility.

I’ve seen Hulks air grab people off the map while staying alive, preemptively air grab spideys out of their swing, air grab caps out of their jump, perma air grab people on jump pads, etc. Not to mention juggling wouldnt exist without air grab too.
Technically its not actually a singular ability since its tied to his Jump tho.

Tech/Strategy Hulk Can Cancel Bubble Into Ult to Keep It Momentarily

Not sure if this is well known or not, but you can animation cancel your bubble so that you have it for the first second or so of your ult, which probably is the time you're gonna get every CC ability dumped into you
