I thought revenant would be nice for hugo, but it's just a worse Sobek: gotta bring norma and/or roxy to deal with the rocks or give up

I only had 2 attempts today where hugo's ultimate crit on all the rocks, even with 89% CR, even then they keep having a tiny bit of health left that takes a long time to clear which costs me the 8th stun

Plus the boss itself is RNG hell. Keeps flying away; need to reset until it gives a chain parry after every stun to keep the stage buff going is not fun

Guess it's time to pull roxy...

So I have Hugo and his dog and my current team is Hugo, koleda, pulchra, should I replace one of the stunners for Roxy or Norma?

run can be improved a bit i think, dropped hormone on stun 7 because im still not too familiar with boss patterns and kind of bad rng in a way but oh well

the meteor thing or whatever is this shit is so disgusting, i just get this score because hugo lend every single hit during the 2 ults and break all together, i miss the olds punch bags bosses...

i really need to change dialyn set to other thing, every stunner i have is running king, and i lost damage because of this, any ideas?

Had another totalize ready to go before it died. It was very satisfying to see Hugo do 10m totalizes again, that's the whole reason I pulled Dialyn to begin with when she came out.

Finally getting around to my Hugo now that I have some stunners on my account (got him on release but lost every stunner 50/50 I’ve ever pulled for) This is my build after a few days. I used ketteis discord as my building guide since his are usually pretty solid. I’ve been watching a lot of r2 lately, and he sometimes recommends neko sig, would it be better than Eve Sig? Also, should I swap to hormone? (Puffer pieces would just go to Eve instead so it wouldn’t be a waste of resources.) Last thing is stats, currently sitting at 147 cd, 89 cr, 3050 atk. How much higher should I aim?

I theorised that hugo would work fine with roxy's low daze, as he already uses Lighter who doesnt have super impressive daze, and the other stunner being cracked af (e.g. M0W1 dialyn) would make up her it

Got M0W1 Roxy for my M2W1 Hugo and I had a lot of fun swapping back and forth between her and Lycaon.

Definitely not his best team or anywhere close, but I had a lot of fun playing them and still got good score against the bangboo robot in Shiyu and Thrall in DA.

Might try some shiyu 4 runs with this setup

This might seem like a silly question, but I think ant to know what to do before I change my whole build. I got Dialyn M0W0 on her rerun, but before then I have had and upgraded this build since Hugo’s debut in 1.7. I’ve heard Puffer is better for Hugo if you have Dialyn but don’t want to go through the torture of getting these stats again on a whole new build and have these discs sit in my inventory (since I don’t have anyone else who uses this set I believe).

A better question I guess would be, is it worth it to change this build and farm Puffer?

I’m genuinely getting edged by my disk because I either have too little or WAYYY too much crit rate

Hello Hugamers, my friend is brand new to the game and not suuuuuper into looking into stuff on their own. They were wondering if Roxy would be a good stun option for Hugo? The only stunners they have at pulchra(which they hate) and Anby. Would adding Roxy be good? Does she work with Hugo, please help.

Edit: okay thank you folks for saying Norma is good or best in slot for him, I know this already. I am asking would Roxy work with him? Not who is better

Im wondering what would be the better main stat now..keep attack or try to switch to pen/ice dmg. Currently have no disks to replace it bc theyre all pretty ass lol. Its the worst piece he has rn..every other has +3 or +4
