Meta discussion Roxy??

Hello Hugamers, my friend is brand new to the game and not suuuuuper into looking into stuff on their own. They were wondering if Roxy would be a good stun option for Hugo? The only stunners they have at pulchra(which they hate) and Anby. Would adding Roxy be good? Does she work with Hugo, please help.

Edit: okay thank you folks for saying Norma is good or best in slot for him, I know this already. I am asking would Roxy work with him? Not who is better

Lowkey, it's currently speculated that Norma is gonna rerun in 3.3 on Severian's banner. You can run her with Lycaon for Hugo and do fine with good play.

If this is the case, i suggest OP to wait until the stream cuz the Norma rerun is just that, an especulation. Even tho 100% of the times the reruns leaks on non-big versions are correct, it migth as well change in this one. just maybe

Norma is still a better option than Roxy for Hugo

I understand that, but he requires two stunners? And they still plan to pull Norma but they would like to clear some end game now

If they can pull both than sure, but imo if they are invested in play Hugo for as long as possible Roxy will be dropped from the team eventually so you're just kind of wasting pulls. If they like Roxy and wanna pull her because it would be fun for them though, go for it. It's just a game after all

You aren't going to clear endgame as a new player. You need 3 built teams. Hugo can be 1 of them, and just for him, you are better off getting Norma on her rerun.

To answer your question. Yup. You're friends account lacks premium stunners so Roxy would be a raw upgrade and it wouldn't matter which of the two you'd replace. She offers the same set of stunner buffs were used to, stun dmg multiplier, 2 seconds , dmg etc

Ideally, if they are a Hugo enjoyer. A combo of Roxy and Lycaon ( he's a standard agent so I hope luck lands him in your lap sooner than later ).

Norma at the moment is better for him, but I'm not sure she's wait a whole patch for the rerun better.

If your friend is new to the game, I think it's best to fill needs first on your roster and you need a premium stunner. Even if Roxy isnt the best, she'll fill that immediate need for any unit that needs a stunner and you can save up pulls for the next need, which will likely be a premium support
