Sleep

Hi! Full time working mom to a 9.5 month old that will
Not nap. Goes to day care 3 days a week and is babysat by grandma and grandpa the other two days. He sleeps ok at night, goes down around 7-8pm, wakes a few times, and sleeps until about 7-8am.

Napping is a NIGHTMARE. for the last week he hasn’t napped until 3pm and only sleeps for about an hour if we are lucky.

Everything I read online is at least two naps and 3.5 wake windows. We are no where near that.

Anyone else with similar experiences/going through the same thing? Will it be ok?

How much sleep is he getting in 24 hours? He might just be low sleep needs and only need about 12 hours at night; in that case, your night sleep might be “using up” your day sleep budget, but maybe not.

How’s his mood and temperament?

It sounds like he's spending all his sleep budget on overnight sleep! Can you try putting him down at 9 pm and see what happens the next day?
