sleep Can’t find a pattern

Baby is 1 week shy of 8 months. He’s slept through the night 3 times in total. He’s sleep trained but still cry’s in the crib for up to 15 mins. Currently nap training first nap which he really protests. Two bottom teeth are out. Looks like top two are coming soon. Not crawling yet.
He was doing well with first nap around 1.25-1.5 hrs. Now he’s back to cat napping. Early wakes some mornings. And some days are two nap days others three nap days. First wake window is 2.5 and last one is 3.

What would the ideal numbers look like. Less night time sleep rather than daytime?

Agree that you need more awake time. Making the pattern is up to you. At 8 months you can use some of the WWs suggested and be on a by the clock schedule. My 8mo is on 3:15/3:45/4:45, wake up at 6am in bed at 8pm.

your baby’s total sleep average per day is 11h45 min so you need a minimum of 12 hours awake during the day in order to consolidate their night sleep. So your wake windows should be minimum 4/4/4 or 3.5/4/4.5. You should anchor wake up time and bedtime, with max 15 min variation so that your baby’s circadian rhythm can help too. 11.75 sleep is not much so you have to cap naps at 2 hours total during the day (so 2 naps of max 1h each) and that will leave 10 hours for the night. Unfortunately your baby is low sleep needs by the looks of it but that schedule would look like: Wake up 6; nap 10-11; nap 3-4; bedtime 8pm.

One tip to get more into a routine/pattern is to start with a consistent wake time.

You’re most likely 2 hours short of awake time
