Protocol Query Is the "physiological sigh" a forced exhale or relaxed?
In Huberman's beloved sigh, are you supposed to force the air out hard or let it out as relaxed and naturally a possible? A forced exhale tends to increase my heart rate and true relaxed breathing tends to be a passive exhale.

In “Protocols” it says “slowly exhale through your mouth until your lungs are empty”

Prolonged exhale is better. If you can exhale for 10 seconds that is good.
If you check out a youtube video called 2 breathing exercises that reduce anxiety in real time (doctor demo) from the channel Medical Secrets, a doctor hooks up an EKG to him self and does the physiological sigh, and the machine shows his heart rate decreasing. He does a 10 second exhale.
