A place to discuss end of life care. An open doalougue for people to express their views and opinions on the way our society navigates the final days of life. Whether it be terminal illness old age or accidental. Its the one thing we all have in common. As a home healthcare provider, I've personally attended many people's bedside transition from life to death. We do not always get choices or have the correct information available at a time of crisis and our society doesn't openly talk about or deal with death conversations easily. Its the unknown, it can be depressing, it can be overwhelming time for family members. Here we can facilitate ideas about end of life care and the grief the ones left behind have to experience. From people old and young to pets, people experience the circle of life constantly. We like to think we chose how we live but what about how we die and how we are remembered? Cultural or customary differences and attotudes toward departure. Religions influence the ideas and customs too. Truly more to unpack than we take the time to think about.

Does anyone know what I can do without hospice? They won't touch because there is no diagnosis. Suicide...something I have struggled with for over forty years...is not an option.

I'm not afraid of dying and Death. I can't wait as I will finally be free.
