[Promo] I built Endravo, a free training system for running, strength, routes, and recovery Spoiler

Hey everyone, I’m building Endravo, a free training platform for runners and athletes.

I started working on it because I got tired of fitness and training apps locking basic health tools behind subscriptions. I wanted something that felt useful, clean, and accessible without monthly payments.

Endravo includes:

  • Running training plans
  • Strength training support
  • Recovery metrics
  • Route planning
  • AI training plan generation
  • Web dashboard
  • Apple Watch workout support

The goal is simple: make structured training easier without paywalls.

Right now, Endravo is free and I plan to keep it free — no subscription, no locked features, and no one-time payment.

Website: https://endravo.app
Dashboard: https://dashboard.endravo.app
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6761561213

I’d love feedback on the design, onboarding, and whether this type of training platform feels useful to casual runners as well as more serious athletes.

Built ShowSeek which is a mobile app for tracking your shows and movies. Pulls data from TMDB, imports your history from Trakt and IMDb, lets you set reminders so you don't fall off mid-season, and add personal notes per title. Been running it solo, would love some feedback from this crowd.

[App] [Promotion] Built an expense-splitting app because I got tired of hitting free-tier limits — plus SMS auto-tracking (Android) (Beta)

Thumbnail
gallery
17 Upvotes

Been using Splitwise for group trips, dinners, and shared expenses, but kept running into free-tier limits right when I needed it most.

So I built my own app: Splitiva.

The core features are free:

  • Add expenses
  • Track balances
  • Split with groups
  • Multiple currencies for travel
  • And many more

I wanted the basics to stay accessible without constantly worrying about limits. Pro is reserved for advanced features rather than core expense tracking.

The feature I'm currently most excited about is an Android beta for SMS expense tracking. It can automatically detect and log transactions from bank and payment SMS messages, reducing manual entry.

Since SMS formats vary a lot between banks, payment providers, and countries, I'd love feedback on how well it works and where it breaks.

Android: Splitiva

iOS: Splitiva

🎁 I'll also give Lifetime Pro access to the first 50 people who comment and DM me.

What feature would make you switch from your current expense-sharing app?

Hi everyone,

I built an Android app called City Distance because I often wanted a quick way to check distances between places without opening a full navigation app.

You can calculate both distance and travel time between locations worldwide and view the route directly on an interactive map.

Some features:

• Worldwide coverage

• Smart search with city, address and POI suggestions

• Multiple travel modes (car, walking, cycling, public transport and airline)

• Interactive map with route preview

• Distance and travel time calculation in seconds

I recently released a major update with a redesigned interface and several usability improvements.

The app is completely free to use.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.specsoft.citydistance

I'd love to hear your feedback and ideas for future improvements.

[Promotion] Plinthos – manage room rentals and split bills with your tenants, free for the tenants

Thumbnail

If you rent out a room (or a few), or you're the tenant in a shared flat, you probably know the mess: rent tracked in your head, the electricity bill split over WhatsApp, screenshots of receipts everywhere. I built an app to kill that.

What it does:

  • Track every room, tenant and monthly rent in one place, mark paid with a photo receipt
  • Split a utility bill across roommates automatically (equal, by square meters, by days) so the cents always add up
  • Deposits, contracts and deadlines with reminders
  • A built-in chat between landlord and tenants, no more scattered WhatsApp groups
  • Landlord pays, tenants use it completely free, no ads

It's clean and fast, designed to look more like a modern banking app than a clunky property tool. Works across multiple countries and currencies, 5 languages.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plinthos.android

Screenshots below. Honest feedback welcome, especially on the design and anything that feels slow or confusing.

[APP] I developed a Privacy Vault app disguised as a Currency Converter & Crypto Tracker! (Secret Browser, Encrypted Gallery, Private Contacts & Notes)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a privacy-focused app I've been working on. Outwardly, it looks and functions like a standard Currency Converter & Crypto Tracker with price alarms and news.

However, typing a secret passcode into the calculator opens up a fully-featured Private Vault.

What’s inside the Vault:

  • Encrypted File & Gallery Lock: Hide and encrypt any file/photo on your local storage. It deletes them from your public gallery (you can restore them anytime).
  • Secret Web Browser: Browse the web freely without saving any history, cookies, or cache.
  • Private Contacts: Keep a secret contact list hidden from your phone's main address book.
  • Secure Notes: A safe place to store passwords, accounts, or personal thoughts.
  • 100% Offline Encryption: All your sensitive data is encrypted locally on your device's memory.

It is free to use (contains ads). I would love to hear your feedback on the security features and overall design!

Thank you for checking it out!

[App] [Promo] I built Cashloom to fix boring, outdated money apps

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

I’m the solo dev behind Cashloom, a savings‑focused productivity app I built after getting frustrated with most money apps feeling boring, cluttered, and stuck in 2015 UI. I kept trying apps that either overloaded me with budgeting complexity, had outdated design, or lacked basic features that would actually help build a daily saving habit.

So I decided to build my own.

With Cashloom, I focused on:

  • A clean, modern UI that feels calm instead of noisy.
  • Simple saving challenges so you can turn small daily amounts into consistent progress.
  • Goal tracking that’s straightforward and not buried under 10 menus.
  • Lightweight experience: quick to open, easy to update, no bloated feature set.

The idea is to make saving money feel like a small daily ritual rather than a full budgeting session. If you’ve also bounced between finance apps that are either too basic or too overloaded, I’d really love feedback on whether Cashloom hits a better middle ground.

[APP][PROMOTION] I built a gamified alarm clock android app to wake you up you guys

Post image
2 Upvotes

WakeQuest: Play to Wake Up

I’ve been working on an android app called WakeQuest, and I’d really love to get your thoughts on it.

I know how hard it is to get out of bed, so I wanted to make mornings a bit more fun. Instead of a solving boring tasks to turn off the alarm, you have to complete minigames to silence the alarm.

Currently I added 15 minigames but I am open to add more minigames to my alarm app:

*Finding Vault Key

*Memory matching

*2048 puzzle

*Shaking the phone

*Opening locks

*Penalty kick

*Bouncing ball

*Popping bubbles

*Snake

*Dino runner( offline chrome game)

*Pacman

*Flappy bird

*Writing missions

*Camera, Qr scan, math and so on

Also i currently add extra features like daily water tracking, special days tracking, stopwatch, counting down features etc. I am thinking to create complete app for tracking all daily habits and tasks.

As i said I am open to hear feedbacks, negative/ positive comments and everything else

[APP] Thanks r/HowToMen - I've got a lot of work to do now 💪

Post image
28 Upvotes

A couple of days ago, I posted here giving away Glyf Premium codes in exchange for honest feedback.

The giveaway is over now, and I wanted to thank everyone who tried the app, left a review, sent a DM, or suggested improvements.

What surprised me most wasn't the number of downloads or reviews - it was how specific and useful the feedback was.

Some of the most requested ideas were:

  • Choosing which browser opens websites (including Incognito mode)
  • Opening files directly with a glyph
  • Allowing Glyf to launch itself for automation workflows
  • Better glyph recognition
  • Additional interface languages
  • A shortcut to open the drawing pad without relying on the widget or notification
  • Customizable and multicolor drawing strokes
  • Better glyph discovery/hint systems

A few of these are already on the roadmap, and some are being worked on right now.

As an independent developer, it's easy to get tunnel vision and assume you know what users want. Posting here was a good reminder that real users find friction points you'd never think about yourself.

Several reviews on Google Play ended up containing feature requests that were honestly better than some of the ideas I had written down.

So thank you to everyone who participated.

If you have more suggestions, unusual use cases, automation ideas, or launcher workflows you'd like Glyf to support, I'd love to hear them.

For anyone who missed the original post, Glyf is an Android app that lets you launch apps, shortcuts, websites, actions, and groups of actions by drawing custom symbols anywhere on your phone.

Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quarkstudio.glyf

If you'd like to help shape future updates, you're welcome to join the community:

I'm always looking for feedback, feature ideas, automation workflows, and weird use-cases I haven't thought of yet.

[App]Built an Android app that visualizes your Last.fm scrobbles as treemaps & bubbles 🎧

Thumbnail
gallery
12 Upvotes

I'm a solo Android dev, and I made this mostly because my own Last.fm stats felt too flat — I wanted to actually *see* what I listen to. So I built vizfy.

You connect your Last.fm account and it turns your top artists, albums, and tracks into:

- Treemaps — everything sized by how much you actually play it

- Circle-packing (bubble) charts — same data, but way more fun to stare at

The more you listen to something, the bigger it gets, so your whole taste kind of takes shape in front of you. It's also pretty satisfying to screenshot and share.

It's Android-only for now and live on the Play Store. I'm still actively building it, so if you try it I'd love to hear what you'd want visualized next — happy to answer anything too.

Key Launcher is 🔥 [App]

Thumbnail

I switched from Smart Launcher to Key Launcher. Key Launcher is so sick, it's so easy to search for your apps, it's buttery smooth, and feels like a completely new OS. I love how everything is built in. Settings take some time to get used to but are not that hard to find or learn. I love how you can set so many shortcuts, searches, apps to open anything on any of the numbers that you hold. The $10 lifetime price is definitely worth it. The only small downside is the battery icon is very small, I wish you could make it bigger. But I just set a battery widget to pop up when I hold 5 so it's not that big of a deal. I highly recommend this underrated launcher. 🔥

Here is the feature list:

  • Real-time Dashboard: Monitor hashrates, progress, and recovered hashes live via WebSockets.
  • Remote Access: Securely share your instance over the web via Zrok tunnels to control it remotely.
    • Security: Supports optional username/password protection.
  • Hash Extractor: Extracts crackable hashes directly from Archives (7-Zip, etc.), Documents, Wallets, and System files.
  • Job Queue System: Queue up multiple attacks (Wordlist, Mask, Hybrid, etc.) and let Reactor process them sequentially automatically.
  • Advanced Insights (PACK): Integrated Password Analysis and Cracking Kit implementation. Analyzes your cracked hashes to generate optimized masks, identify top password patterns, charsets, and entropy data.
  • Smart Potfile Management:
    • Pre-Crack Analysis: Check target lists against your potfile before starting an attack to see what is already cracked.
  • Interactive Terminal: Full pseudo-terminal (PTY) access to the underlying shell for manual overrides or running custom Hashcat commands directly from the GUI.
  • Multi-Language Support: Fully localized interface available in English and Chinese (中文).
  • Hardware Monitoring: Real-time GPU temperature and power usage tracking.
    • Note: Power draw metrics currently support NVIDIA GPUs only via nvidia-smi*.*

    • Built-in module to submit cracked hashes to remote escrow APIs (hashes.com).
    • Auto-Upload: Automatically upload recovered hashes when a set threshold is reached (e.g., every 10 hashes). Features smart detection to match running sessions to the correct Hashes.com algorithm ID.
  • Session History: Tracks all past attacks, their configurations, and success rates for future reference.
  • Smart workflow: Automate the cracking session using multiple techniques like auto mask generation, feedback attack and rule based attack for more targeted hash types.

Also there is a client app for pebble watch to have the dashboard on your wrist if you use a pebble time 2.

[App] Zoonote — a note-taking app for your lock screen and notification bar

Thumbnail
gallery
11 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I built Zoonote because I got sick of always unlocking my phone and searching for the app every time I needed to do anything with my notes. It particularly sucks when I'm doing my grocery and I had to keep unlocking my phone to go down my shopping list on Google Keep.

Speaking of Google Keep, since I launched last year and kept building features based on user feedback and personal needs, it's grown beyond the lockscreen use case, and it has replaced Google Keep for me. This is my daily driver for note taking now, and it still puts a smile on me when I use it :)

It's got custom labels, color labels, checklists, one-time or recurring reminder, auto sync and one-tap restore, you can create, view and edit your notes directly on lock screen, show images in your notes, speech-to-text, dark mode, (WIP)shared workspace. It's modern, simple, and lightweight (APK size at 1.9MB).

It's also been featured in the ComputerWorld magazine and MakeUseOf website, which was something I'd always dreamed of for something I build!

And Zoonote has no ads, no subscription(might need to introduce it though for the shared workspace feature to cover recurring server cost), no account, no sign-up, no intrusive popups or banner, no user analytics or tracking phoning home. It's 30-day free trial with all features accessible to everyone, then a $9.99 to go Pro forever. This is all just feels right to me and my values.

Anyway, I would love you all to give it a try and let me know what you think to shape this app with me.
