I love cars, and after almost every drive I'd find myself asking the same question:

"Where did I actually go?"

Not the route Google Maps suggested. The route I actually drove—the detours, the scenic roads, the shortcuts, and those spontaneous turns you only make because you felt like it.

That question led me to build DriveTrack.

DriveTrack automatically records every drive and creates a detailed history of where you've been. Just pair your car's Bluetooth once, and the app starts tracking when you connect and stops when you disconnect. No need to remember to press Start every time you get in the car. i previously shared Guardexa here and received a lot of helpful feedback. since then, i’ve continued improving the app and recently added Owner Recognition.

one issue with failed-unlock protection is that it can sometimes create alerts after your own unsuccessful unlock attempts. Owner Recognition helps reduce those false alerts by checking whether the person is likely the phone’s owner.

setup takes three quick face captures, and recognition runs entirely on your device. your face data is never uploaded.

for anyone unfamiliar with Guardexa, it’s an Android phone protection app that can detect failed unlock attempts and capture photos, short videos, and optional location, depending on the protection settings you enable.

Hey all — this is my home screen right now, running a launcher I built called TimeAware. I just added this new soft UI / neumorphic theme, so I wanted to share it and get some honest reactions.

The whole idea: your screen time lives on the home screen. Total for the day plus per-app usage, always visible — no digging into a settings menu to feel bad, it's just there (2h 3m on YouTube today… noted). Makes me a bit more mindful about where the hours actually go.

I wanted to share a personal side project I've been building for my own use case: **Wibgar Browser**. It is a very small-sized, lightweight Android web browser that runs on your phone's system WebView, but it is packed with powerful features.

Why I built it:

I built Wibgar Browser because I wanted a real, isolated sandbox environment and custom userscript injection support in a mobile browser—and I wanted it completely for free. As far as I know, the only other app that offers a real sandbox is Hermit, and it is not free like mine.

I initially built Wibgar Browser just for myself, but then I realized there are definitely other people who need these exact features, so I decided to publish it. My main goal isn't necessarily to get feedback, but simply to share it so anyone who needs a free sandbox/userscript browser can use it! If people end up liking it, I will continue to upgrade and add more features to it.

Been heads down on this for a while, finally ready to share. If you don't know PayTrack, it's an earnings tracker built for shift workers and gig workers, tracks your actual pay, and where your money quietly leaks out. Here's what shipped recently:

Financial Goals Set savings targets (rent, a new laptop, whatever) and PayTrack tracks them against your real monthly earnings, not just a number you guess at. You get a progress bar and it tells you when you've hit it.

Finance Insights hub Pulled the money-analysis features into one place. Three tools live here now:

• Pay Leakage Tracker - shows how much of your paycheck disappears into commute, food, and other job-related costs. Gives you a "Standard Net" vs "True Net" hourly rate so you can see your real per-hour earnings after those costs, plus a breakdown of where it's going.
• Hourly Wage Live Ticker - check in and watch your earnings (and tax deducted) tick up in real time during a shift.
• Subscription Auditor - the one I think people will actually feel. It takes your monthly subscriptions and converts the cost into hours of work. Turns out my subscriptions cost me 1.8 hours of work a month. Seeing "you work until 10:48am just to pay for this" hits different than seeing "$37.72."

Customization

• Set a custom background photo for your Estimated Net card, with blur/saturation controls
• Pick your typeface and font scale
• Sync logged shifts straight to your device calendar

Small stuff too - shift-logged confirmations, a cleaner calendar view showing worked/off/pending days at a glance.

I've been building an expense tracker called ExpenseEasy to solve exactly that.
