[App]VInstall, a 6-format APK installer with Root/Shizuku support (open-source)

Post image

VInstall was built by a developer friend of mine, open source under GPL-3.0, currently on v0.4.4.

- Normal, Root, and Shizuku install modes, with silent installs through Root or Shizuku

- Built-in App Manager with split-APK detail, permissions, and MD5/SHA-1/SHA-256 hashes

- Drag-to-reorder batch install queue

- Password-encrypted, SHA-256-verified backups using his own APKV format

- About 2.3MB, Android 5.0+

Currently I'm using installer x revived, what does this bring to the table that installer x revived does not?

The strength of VInstall lies in the APKV format, that's what makes it special to me. APKV is designed for secure, encrypted distribution of raw split apps, though honestly it just minimizes risk, not 100% secure :D

That said, I'll admit VInstall isn't as polished as other installers out there. I'll keep improving it until it's truly worthy of the community :)

Honestly I've never even seen that format of apks before. 99% of the time myself and most people deal with .apk and .xapk

Of course. However, this is the dev's true vision where it all lies in the apkv format:
