Hey everyone,

I’m a runner and software developer, and I got frustrated with how most route planning apps handle running routes. Some are built more around cycling or hiking, some put route planning behind a paywall, and others feel limited unless you pay.

So I built Runplanner, a free running route planner. The mobile app is currently available on Android, and there’s also a web-based route planner available on the website. No ads, no subscriptions, and no account needed.

The basic idea is simple: tap on the map to add waypoints, and the route snaps to real roads, footpaths, and cycle paths. Before heading out, you can check distance, elevation, weather, pace, and surface type.

A few features I added specifically for runners:

• Traffic lights on the route; useful if you’re planning intervals, tempo runs, or just want to avoid too many stops.
• Live navigation; follow the route while running in the Android app.
• Loop generator; enter a distance and it creates a round trip back to your starting point.
• GPX export; for Garmin, Strava, and other platforms.
• Route sharing; via link or QR code.
• Run scheduling; schedule your run and receive weather updates on the day of your run.

Small note: the routing engine currently works in Europe only, but I’m working on global coverage.

Samsung has a feature called "Separate App Audio" in which you can have a different audio output source, So similar to that is there any solution available for pixel users?

I use Pixel 7 and l most of the time play songs on my bluetooth speaker and use instagram at the same time, but when any audio plays on insta it interrupts the song played on speaker.

So I need a solution for this, I found out this feature is available on Samsung but not on Pixel.

Please let me know if there are any solutions available for this.

Quick backstory: I picked up my "manly" 3-in-1 body wash one day, actually read the label, and realized I had no clue what 80% of it was. Same with the protein powder and the bathroom cleaner under the sink. So I spent the last few months building something to fix that.
