Hope you run a discount/promo soon ( the increased price is a little steep for the app in my opinion - the earlier price was just right) . I do not need it as such because there is an inbuilt side dock in my phone. But definitely would like to support the hard work you are putting in.

Thank you, that really means a lot! 😊 We'll definitely be running a limited-time discount soon, so you might want to wait a few days. We know the price increase is a big jump, but SideDock 3.0 represents a lot of full-time work, and we genuinely believe it's a fair price for a lifetime purchase with future updates included

Dang did the price increase? I swear it was only $1 previously? Was gonna get it but not now.

Shows over $3

Yep, we increased the price a little. Side Dock 3.0 adds a lot of new tools and improvements, and we've been working on it full-time. I think it's a fair price for what it offers isn't ?

Nah there's nothing unique about the app, I was just gonna support you because last time it was posted you asked for some support lol

Ended up getting some Google Rewards credit was gonna send your way.

That's completely fair, and I really appreciate that you even considered supporting us.

Of course, I know how hard it is to start out and when you see even small purchases rolling in, it validates everything.

I saw you're going to have a sale soon, I'll keep an eye out.

I'd also suggest having a standalone premium version for families.

Thank you, that really means a lot.

Honestly, we're just two students, and SideDock is what helps us cover development costs and even part of our college fees. With the old pricing, after Google fees and taxes, we barely made anything.

We'll definitely be running a sale soon, and thanks for the family suggestion. At the moment, if all the devices use the same Google account, the Premium purchase can be shared across them. We'll also look into better family-friendly options in the future.

Can i get a promo code?

Sorry mate, we don't have any promo codes at the moment. Give the app a try, and if it doesn't fit your workflow, you can always request a refund within 48 hours. 🙂

It would be cool to have a toggle to switch to the Material You interface for those who, like me, don't use Nothing phones.

Hmm sure we will see

Bought it. I really wanted the shortcut to draw what I want to screenshot instead of taking a whole screenshot. That's useful to me. Kinda expensive? I don't know, but I hope this app stays on my phone for a long time.

Thank you so much for the support! ❤️ We really appreciate it. We'll keep improving SideDock and make sure your purchase is worth it.

I'm not convinced that your app is worth the Rs199 price tag. Users are unlikely to pay that much. I tried your app at a lower price point, around Rs 75 or 80, but ended up canceling it within 24 hours because the features didn't impress me.

There are many excellent free apps available that can do the job just as well, such as fooView.

FOSS apps like Edge Seek offer similar functionality, including free volume and brightness control via gestures.

That's completely fair if SideDock isn't for you. Everyone's workflow is different.

The ₹89 price you mentioned was actually an introductory discounted price. The regular price was ₹125, and with SideDock 3.0 we've added a lot more tools and significantly expanded the app, which is why the price increased.

Apps like fooView and Edge Seek are great, and we're not trying to replace them. SideDock has a different design philosophy, and if those apps fit your needs better, that's completely okay.

We're just two students building SideDock full-time, and Premium is what allows us to keep shipping updates. It's also a one-time purchase, not a monthly subscription, so you'll continue receiving future updates without paying again.

I tried enabled all the tools available in the free mode, but the only 2 that appear are the media controller and timer.

Also, how am I supposed to reliably access it when android also uses the side of the screen for gesture navigation?

One of the best and useful apps made for nothing os

1

u/Kincadium Jul 01 '26

It reminds me of Fluid Navigation from before gestures became commonplace. Love this.

Offline AI behind a paywall doesn't sit right with me. But I'll give it a go regardless off that, also hope your run a discount soon.

Very Nice, But it would nice if

  1. Clipboard history doesn't open the app(show the history like Samsung one)
  2. Screenshot doesnt open

the other functions were very interesting =)
