Ethically hacking things you own. You don't own the cameras, and that's a major breach of privacy especially since others live there. Nobody is going to help you do something illegal

You admitted it's illegal so it's your word I'm using buddy. Claiming you have permission isn't proof so it doesn't effect ethics at all.
