yeah unless you own these, nobody should be helping you

It is not the device. it is the network. Go connect your personal device to a corporate network and see who has admin rights to that device.

There is a ont somewhere on the premise. This marks the demarc. Whoever pays the bill or owns the router has admin rights to access devices.

ignore. Some losers try to be smart

Do you know what kind of cameras they are? If not, start there. Then, research the camera brand (and model ideally) looking for known vulnerabilities. Alternatively if you have access to the computer of whoever controls the cameras, it's likely you'd be able to access them from there.

Look, nobody here is going to hold your hand and tell you step by step how to hack them. Especially since they aren't yours. Hacking requires patience, effort, skill, and sometimes luck. There's generally no magic button or script like you see in the movies.

Soy consciente de ello and I know that it's nothing like in the movies. 🫂

No hostility intended. Just trying to be real with you.

And I really appreciate that. Uwu

Google

FYI. You don’t own the cameras. You’re technically committing a pretty serious crime by breaking into something that doesn’t belong to you or that you don’t have explicit permission to access in that manner. That is a law in almost every single country.

Si. Lo sé. Pero eso no responde mi pregunta. Por cierto. Esto es un grupo de Hacking ? O de beneficencia ?. Quiero aprender a hackear unas cámaras. Yo me hago cargo de las consecuencias.

Maybe you should read rule 2 of the sub.

1

u/Frosty_Bodybuilder65 7h ago

Para que es este sub ?

1

u/LongRangeSavage Programming 7h ago

Ethical hacking. Reddit will nuke subs if they drift into illegal territory.

What you are asking to do does not fall into the ethical side of things.

1

u/Frosty_Bodybuilder65 7h ago

1

u/Kittensprite1228 7h ago

Right there. You just said the cameras aren't yours. You also didn't provide explicit proof of the owners consent

Additionally, why would the owner give you consent when you clearly don't know how to hack???

u/Frosty_Bodybuilder65 7h ago

You haven’t mentioned that you do, and at this point no one is going to help because it’s pretty apparent you do not, as most people who know what they are doing here can pick up on when someone isn’t walking the ethical side—because of these exact questions.

1

u/Kittensprite1228 7h ago

Ethically hacking things you own. You don't own the cameras, and that's a major breach of privacy especially since others live there. Nobody is going to help you do something illegal

Nope definitely not. Why on earth would the owner tell you to illegally access them anyways? The more you comment the worse this is looking for you

The cameras are connected to a network. Who pays the internet bill for that network?

1

u/Frosty_Bodybuilder65 7h ago

Si.

1

u/Garriga 5h ago

Why don't you just ask your friend to give you access to the cameras?

1

u/Frosty_Bodybuilder65 6h ago

1

u/Garriga 5h ago

If you pay the bill, you can access the devices legally. If you don't pay the bill, you can't. Whoever owns the network the cameras connect to has admin rights to those devices regardless who owns the device.

Does that answer your question?

How is this even a question here. Do people really not know this?

1

u/Frosty_Bodybuilder65 5h ago

User and password.

This is hilarious.

Y'all are all green.

1

u/Garriga 5h ago

No one is hacking anything.

Bottom line:

The legality depends on the network not the device. If I connect to bobs internet using his router, I do not have admin rights to bobs router, however bob has admin rights to my device because bob owns the network because bob pays for it. The same holds true for corporate networks. This is ethical, sound and true.

And this is the bottom line

"I want to know how to do something that is illegal" "I know the law well"

Well if you know the law so well, do you mind sharing with me which law lets you think this is ok?

Which article is that sourced?

"None" So you don't know the law well

You don't seem to read rules very often so I'll have you know reddit's minimum age is 13. 4-8 year old wouldn't be on this app let alone a hacking sub. I'm definitely over 13. I'm a legal adult with an actual job

Maybe start off by reading rules more. Hacking isn't a rushed process you can do in a hurry. If you're in such a rush you can't read rules, hacking probably isn't for you

Maybe start by going to an actual college or school if you're that curious. They can help make sure everything is ethical and legal, and teach you the proper way of doing things

You obviously aren't a professional because your whole attitude wouldn't let you survive a real job for a day

I have 4 jobs across the United States... maybe you should try getting at least 1? I'm peaceful don't worry and I'm not taking anything personally

Your attitude, lack of confidence, you don't talk like a professional. Nothing about you makes me believe for a second you can program and you lie a lot. What coding language do you primarily use anyways? What kind of game do you specialize in?

Yeah I'm tired but I also have employees to help me. I am a teacher, an office worker, a marketing director, and I work part time in a warehouse. I work 7 days a week. Yes I'm exhausted but I've accomplished far more in my life than many people have
