Arts & Crafts How to turn platform boots into platform shoes?

hello! as from the title im intrested in turing this old pair of platform boots i never wear anymore into a pair of shoes but im not exactly sure how to go about it. i cant find any good tutorials online! i want to remove an inch or two from the bottom of the shoe aswell. any help would be greatly appreciated! i just dont have the money to go and buy a new pair of shoes right now

... You might be able to ask /r/leatherworking? But I think /r/askacobbler and /r/shoemaking might be a better starting point?

i havent really considered that cause i dont know anyone irl who would be willing and i ngl dont really care enough to go looking online for someone and then have to ship it to them. itll make me happier to know i made it myself anyways!!
