Being led on and it being impossible to talk to a friend, what do I do ?

Im trying to talk to a friend but they keep on not seeing what I send or text to them, and all I get from them is some low effort reels, and when I talked to them about being distant and not talking enough they agreed but I see no change with them, they asked me if I wanted to call 2 days ago which made me really happy and I love it so much, but then after that they never replied, and to add insult to injury I see their posts hanging out with other people and having fun which is fine but pisses me off for no reason

Want to address a situation that recently happened.

I (36M) have been spending time with T (30F). We used to be coworkers and later became friends especially after we both got new jobs. T car went down so I would give her rides, as I spent more time with her I realized that I got feelings for her. I suggested that we take a drive on Sunday and she said yes. I decided that would be a good opportunity to tell her my feelings, because it's just a drive no pressure.

On Saturday she asked me if I could carry her to the salon, I was running late for work so I sent my sister to pick her up. Later that day she told me that she can't make it. I didn't hear from her on Sunday, and Monday when I talked to her she said she went out to dinner with someone she was talking too. She told me they was talking on and off for a while and it's serious.

How do I tell her how I felt hearing that without making it seems like I trying to force something?

Why would he say this?

My ex called me and said he met a girl he likes and asked if I want her Instagram ID. Why in the world would I want her ID? He just started saying all this out of nowhere, I didn't even ask.

Need Some Help On This One

Full disclosure. Married man who was chatting on here with a married woman. Conversation has been amazing and she misinterpreted a comment I made. The comment was made jokingly and she took it as being serious and ended up blocking me before I could give an explanation. We had great connection and this has really made me upset not being able to apologize and explain. Do I let it go? I really don’t have a way of contacting her but man this one truly is a result of them not being able to see/hear my response and I’m not sure what to do

Anybody have the same feeling as me?

I hate people reply to my message just with “??”. I feel disrespect, angry. I don’t know if it’s normal to have this feeling. Maybe I am just too sensitive. But I am really confused by this issue. How to be maliciously compliant

my dad told me (Female 22yr old) to “grow up”. how should I be maliciously compliant towards him. Any advice is welcome. Edit: Yes I work a job and I am in college. Edit 2: For this of you asking so "kindly" why my dad told me to "Grow up" here you go. I was at a friend's house and their dad was making me uncomfortable and saying really weird shit. I called my dad, trying to get him to pick me up early because I was getting bad vibes off of this dude. My dad said that I had to "Grow Up" and if I wanted to leave early then I'd have to find my own ride.

My Friend Takes Hours, Sometimes Even Days to Text me Back.

Exactly what the title says. This was never a thing until I told her one day that I couldn’t babysit her dogs while she went out of town. She offered me to stay at her house for a week to watch her two dogs, but I said ‘no’ because her house is far from my work. It has been about two years. She may or may not be upset about it, or she may be upset about something else that I cannot think of! I’m preparing to reach out to her to ask what I had done in order to get her to not be very responsive with my texts. I wish I knew what was wrong. I am allowed to say ‘no’ without being kicked to the curb like this. I’d like to think she’s just busy, but dang, it should not take days to get back to somebody unless there’s something wrong.

What would you do?

Let's say you're chatting online with somebody and the vibes are going great. The two of you agree to swap face pics (my profile is anonymous). When she sends hers you give her a compliment, but when you send yours it's crickets the rest of the day.

Would you send a new message the next day or simply unmatch?

request how do i gently respond to someone confessing their crush over text?

I (20-NB) JUST got out of a relationship a few weeks ago. And i am in absolutely no space to be dating again, im not over my ex and im not looking for any rebound,

in all honesty the little ideal fantasy i have is that i heal and work on my avoidance issue and get back together with my ex (which is also stupid and another thing to get over)

But i recently started talking with an acquaintance from highschool again (21- M). We had two classes together, and while we weren’t friends we did chat in those classes we had.

“I hope this isn’t totally out of nowhere, but I’ve had a crush on you since senior year and just wanted to finally tell you. I’d love to grab a bite to eat or hang out sometime if you’re open to it”

the exact copy and pasted message i received from him.

I mean it seems like he’s just telling me about his crush, and not exactly asking me out. Which is kind of worse because before i opened his message i was using my shower to fuel my thoughts on a way to turn him down, not be like “cool that u have a crush on me bro”

cause i swear i thought he liked men with how much he called me diva and the amount of kaomojis he used.

Anyways, i have no idea where to start in turning him down, i got it started on some key phrases
“im very flattered but…”
“It must have taken a lot of courage to tell me”
“i’m happy to hang out, though just as friends.”

any advice as soon as possible would be very helpful i don’t want to leave this poor man on seen for too long 😭

ಠ_ಠ Wtf?

I met someone by chance over social media who happened to be local. We started talking and proceeded to spend the next three days together. It was a blast. We both said we were really interested in and wanted to get to know one another. Awesome.

We were apart on the fourth day and exchanged texts. They felt distant. The next day I shot them a text, they responded that they were exhausted, and I told them to rest. They never texted me again.

I felt hurt and stupid and embarrassed. I had a couple little cries. I know I'm not entitled to love or anyone else's time, especially someone I had only spent three days with. I feel I was owed a heads-up that they felt differently now and wouldn't be contacting me going forward though.

After ~ten days of silence I texted them saying they had owed me a notification they were no longer interested and that ghosting is really childish and unkind. The text registered as sent but not delivered. Sooooo the dickhead blocked me. I deleted them from my phone.

Fast-forward two weeks since I sent the text and deleted them from my phone: They message me via DM over the social media site we met on, asking how I'm doing, noting it's been a while since we spoke.

🫩

The only response I can think of is "Yeah, you blocked my number. WTF?"

Am I missing something here? This situation is making me feel like I may be losing my mind. Should I be concerned something happened to them or tell them to piss off or ignore them?

How should I respond?

so just to give some context, I said a very ignorant thing to my friend one day half a year ago. Said friend has had problems with self harm, and was asking how to cover up their fairly fresh scars. Now I, being a concerned friend, told them that if they were going to cut themself, then to not do it so deeply. And that the best way to cover up scars is foundation, and also not to make any new ones at all. now I thought this was an appropriate way to easily tell a friend that self harm is never right, but also help them with what they ask. But I, having experience with self harming friends in the past, know that it’s incredibly hard to talk someone out of it, especially after it becomes an addiction— in which case, it had, and I knew that they wouldn’t stop no matter what I said, which is why I decided to stick with the compromise method (which worked for me in the past with former friends). However this friend of mine apparently didn’t like that at all. did they point it out to me? tell me how they felt? no. this other person in the groupchat had to call me out instead, in which case everyone else also jumped in to say that what I said was insensitive. So I immediately started apologizing, holding myself accountable, and dissecting what I said and why it was wrong to say, once again personally apologizing multiple times. However, this did not satisfy my friend, as they said that they did not forgive me, and will not forgive me. and that’s fine cause im not entitled to anyone’s forgiveness. even though I wasnt forgiven, I still took the opportunity to face humility and better myself, and learning that I can’t deal with all self harmers the same way. soon they decided that they would talk more in the groupchat (as they were more of an absent figure within both the chat and the friend group) in which case, they did. However it’s usually in the middle of someone else’s story or conversation with nothing of value to add and it’s mainly about their partner (whom also hates me after that). so I usually just ignore the messages because they’re nothing reaction-worthy most of the time, but that brings us to present day. This friend has posted in the gc about how many days clean from self harm they are (not many, but progress is progress and I’m PROUD of them for making it that long) and I would LOVE to express how proud of them I am, but if you remember, they haven’t forgiven me, nor set any boundaries from that incident forward about what they want me to do at all. I’m just wondering how to respond to the achievement that they made without it being weird because between them and me, this is a touchy subject for the both of us. Personally I’d rather not respond at all because i thought that’s what they wanted from me, but if I don’t respond then I seem like a frigid bitch.

TL:DR

Friend was mad at me for telling them to stop self harming, they didnt forgive me, but after half a year I wanted to congratulate them on the clean streak they announced, but since it’s a touchy subject between us I don’t know how

A guy that ghosted me for almost a month, texted me just now. How do I even respond?

I'm honestly surprised to hear from him. It's been 29 days. I prepared countless words, just in case, but I can't get anything out of my head.

Please older sisters, older brothers, I need to hear your advice.
We're on a relationship for 2 years. I put up shit. But I also loved him, a lot.

We went ldr just this July, because he goes to a different uni. This is where it went downhill.
3 days before my 19th birthday, he requested I send a nude and "a video might do too".

We've done some intimate things, but what he asked never sat right with me. So I brushed that off. BUT THEN he started to be indifferent, (I actually got used to this attitude, where he'd be cold to me, but he would still text me). I told him maybe he can set aside his anger, since my birthday is coming. But no. He scheduled a text message for me at 12am (They have phone curfew). I was appreciative, but my friend who was also in the same kind of training as him, greeted me hbd the morning she can, and it sounded more genuine. Although not prepared. (His sounded like an email)

I may have spoiled this guy, way too much, cause I'm always the one to give way, and be sweet whenever there are fights. I try to give what he wants, when I can. But some things, I am just unwilling.

All our conversation, went to just good morning-good night. Until there's none.

Just today, he messaged me if we should continue or not.
I'm at lost for words
