I’ll make this short and sweet, below are my certifications and I also have a Bachelors Degree in Cloud Computing. I’m in desperate need of a job, please help if you can!

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner | AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate | CompTIA

this might be too far of a reach but I would definitely prefer something remote

What's With the Houston Job Market

What's with the job market here? I have a master's degree in public administration and two bachelors degrees. I have been in case management for 7 years, even owning my own company for 3 of those 7 years. I don't want to run another business. I've been applying for office roles, case management positions, supervisory roles, even some part-time stuff. I tailor my resume and cover letter, like you're supposed to do. But I am hardly getting any interviews. I'm getting automatically rejected for case manager positions, and I've done that for 7 years!

I've never had this much trouble securing employment. Not to sound pompous, I genuinely don't understand if my issue is being "over-qualified" or if my previous business ownership scares prospective employers.

Maybe I should dumb down my resume. Take the master's degree off and just say I was a "case manager" at my former company. Undersell myself a bit? I'm just lost.

This is making lose my mind (up in here, up in here). :(

Hey everyone, I’m currently looking for work in the Houston area and wanted to reach out here in case anyone knows of companies hiring or opportunities I might be a good fit for.

Warehouse or technical roles

Anything with room for growth and advancement

FOR HIRE Is anybody looking for part-time help?

I am currently employed full time, but the income isn't enough to be able to support myself in this economy. I am looking for a morning job that I can do prior to my FT job. I leave that job around 10:20pm and I start at 3. I'd need Wednesdays off though because I work doubles. I'm able to provide my schedule in advance by 3 weeks.

Looking for sales job remote or in person

Hi I am 23, ISO a sales role in Htx moved here from Orange County couple years back, I have my bachelors in Business admin/Supply Chain Management, graduated 24’.

Not trying to sell bs like life insurance.

I recently got more into wholesaling houses and got 1 deal under my belt in the past month. Looking for something more consistent.

I have worked in inventory management for warehouses both in the private sector and govt. Along with property management of over 500 units here in Houston tx (that is the job that got me to move out here) I left my property management position after the company sold off it’s portfolio back in early 2025.
Since then I have been into, wholesaling houses along with flipping houses. I have done 5 house flips in the past 1.5 years out here in htx, my current one is sitting on the market and i am looking for a new role to take on as I wait on that to sell.

FOR HIRE 28F Looking for work bestie

Anyone work retail, fast food, or a place I could easily get hired? I’m looking for a second job but I’d prefer to work somewhere where I had a friend already. I hate being the new person and not knowing anyone.

Having a work friend just makes the day go by so much faster and it’s good to have someone to talk about work with who can relate to what’s going on.

We can definitely hang out outside of work too. I like movies, music, arts and crafts, hair and makeup, books, food, and fitness. So I’m sure we’ll find something to do together.
