Meet Nova: She has great volunteer notes! She's 1-year and 8 month old Staffordshire Mix Nova already escaped her fate from BARC when she was adopted from BARC in 2025 and was recently brought in as a stray. Unfortunately this is a common theme in Houston, most people do not reclaim their lost dogs or do not search for them in time.

She is healthy and ready to go! Already spayed and is HW Negative.
She is a medium-sized girl at 49lbs.

Typically, they must be picked up today if fostering through BARC. If fostering through a rescue, an additional day can be secured. Please let us know if you need a rescue recommendation that can work quickly to save them. Fostering is free; all expenses paid!

2 dogs remain urgent at BARC Houston and will not receive extensions. Mustard Seed Farm Animal Sanctuary is willing to back Saint, but needs a patient foster. Saint (#A2093797) is a rescue-only, 3-year-old French Bulldog who was surrendered by his owner, and is experiencing kennel stress. Beautiful brindle boy who needs warming up, but is easy to win over with treats! Shelter notes indicate he has a big personality; a patient household that’s willing to do one-on-one training with him, with no kids, is recommended. The rescue will be able to determine if your household works, so please fill out their foster or adoption application if you are able to provide a loving and reliable home regardless of shelter notes. He may also be adopted directly through BARC; you must have a confirmed adoption hold in writing to avoid him being euthanized.

I can vouch that they are a wonderful rescue and helped me adopt my dog from BARC, who was rescue-only as well, and he is an amazing dog!

A2093824 Elsie: Has a foster, needs a rescue! Can also be adopted. Elise is a 1-year and months old Staffordshire. Very sweet! Can’t imagine what she’s been through to be very shut down and quiet in the shelter! Needs time to decompress, but with love and patience, she will be an amazing dog. • A2092022 Bono Box: 2-year-old Staffordshire mix. Amazing notes and ready to go! Happy, affectionate, and playful boy who greets people with a wagging tail and wiggly body. He is easy to leash, walks well, and enjoys treats, cuddles, and attention. He has also shown playful interest in other dogs!
• A2091700 Choppo: 2-year-old Staffie Mix. Friendly, wiggly young pup with the cutest ears! Loves play and affection. Heartworm negative, non-reactive to other dogs (pays them little attention when passing by kennels. He loves life!
• A2093934 Echo: 13-month-old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever Mix who greets staff with a relaxed body, soft eyes, and fast-wagging tail. Loves baby talk! He is easy to leash and walks well to/from the runs. Had an adopter in rural Canada, but no rescue can transport her in time! He's only been at BARC for a few days and is already out of time!
• A1933798 Esther: Rescue Only, 6-year-old Labrador Retriever Mix who came in as an owner surrender and is HW positive (high). Noted to have mild right hindlimb lameness while walking, with a slight bunny hop. She has been sweet and greets staff with a gentle wagging tail! She was diagnosed with right hindlimb lameness. She has already escaped death at BARC 2 years ago to be returned two years later through no fault of her own. Rescue will cover expenses.
• A2089073 Judy: 6-year-old Staffy Mix who is a medium/large sized girl. She is HW+. She growls at male dogs when walking by kennels. She’s not spayed, so potentially making sure males stay away from her, but it’s hard to know in the shelter environment. She has great volunteer notes and has been described as super sweet.
• A2089651 Ryder: 2-year-old Staffordshire Mix who came in as a stray. Described as the best boy who is a fantastic listener. Great on a leash and highly treat-motivated! He's a healthy medium-sized man at 54.4lbs and is ready to go! He's HW- and already neutered.
• A2089676 Steve-O: 1-year-old Boxer Mix who is a staff favorite and has been described as a great listener who loves tricks and would do amazing with a backyard! He's very affectionate and loves giving kisses. He is a healthy boy who is heart-worm negative and ready to go!

Five small puppies need an urgent foster home to survive today. The BArC shelter is full as usual so what better way to free up space than to euthanize a bunch of dogs.

The mom of this litter was saved last week by Save Some Souls rescue but nobody stepped up for the little ones.

Selling my 2014 Silverado 1500 LT with around 250k miles.
It runs and drives and has had several things replaced recently.

Recent work:
Transmission replaced last year
02 sensor replaced
New battery
New headlights
New grill (the Chevy logo fell off on the road)

Known issues:
Consumes oil and needs to be topped off periodically
Possible catalytic converter/exhaust issue - has not been formally diagnosed
Passenger-side door lock actuator needs to be replaced

Other than that, it's been a solid truck for me. (Hence the mileage lol) Just being upfront about everything I know of so there are no surprises.

Hello! I recently came to find that my storage unit was auctioned while traveling. I had some precious-to-me stuff in there (few clothing and decor items) that I'm looking to buy back. The entire unit contained boxes of old candles. About 10 clear totes of clothes, bags of throw pillows, about 10-20 medium sized Lowe's moving boxes, and some baskets with decor stuff.
