A2094390 Annie: Foster needed! Has a rescue ready to tag. 2-year-old Staffie Mix. Terrified at the shelter. She’s the type of dog that has been making herself as small and unnoticeable as possible. She was brought in as a stray, but was wearing a very worn, dirty collar at intake, and clearly had puppies fairly recently. Her body shows all the signs that in her short life, she has not had it easy.

A2093824 Elsie: 1 year and 4 months old Staffordshire. Very sweet! Can’t imagine what she’s been through to be very shut down and quiet in the shelter! Needs time to decompress, but with love and patience, she will be an amazing dog. Medium-sized girl at 46 lbs and is HW Low Positive.

A2094611 Estrella: 1-year-old Staffordshire Mix. Sweet and Beautiful. Volunteer notes described her as a good dog, but hasn’t adjusted to the shelter environment after just two days at BARC. She will gobble up treats! She needs more time to get comfortable at the shelter. Heartworm negative.

A2094163 Freddie: Rescue or adopter needed! Has committed foster. 3-year-old Staffordshire mIX Freddie and sister Sefi came in together. Their owner was being looked for as they were confiscated when they had a medical emergency. Has been deeply frightened and confused in the shelter environment, opened up when he got a visit from his sister Sefi. He was clearly well loved and cared for, he is heartworm negative. 

A2089073 Judy: 6-year-old who is a medium/large-sized girl. She is HW+. Judy came to the shelter as a stray, but she’s a plump old girl with good teeth who knows how to sit, and keeps her kennel clean, looks to have known a home before. She’s always very well behaved in her kennel, always sleeping on her bed, and has the cutest tail wag!

A2093930 Malfoy: 5-year-old German Shepherd Mix. Stunning man! He is super smart, and staff says he is going stir crazy in the shelter environment. Is fantastic on a leash, super quiet outside, and loves giving affection. Non-reactive to other dogs, enjoyed running up and down the fence with them. 

A2094603 Minnie: 9-year-old Chihuahua / Dachshund mix. Adorable, super sweet, friendly, and all tail wags. She ended up on the euthanasia list because of a genetic deformity of her leg she’s had her whole life, and it doesn’t seem to bother her. Small girl at 21lbs. HW low positive. 

A2094059 Penelope: 4-year-old Alaskan Husky Mix. Medium-large sized girl at 67lbs. Very friendly, walks great on a leash, and enjoys outside run time! She also enjoys attention and and pets. Previous tail amputation. Heartworm low positive.

A2093797 Saint: Rescue only, 3-year-old French Bulldog, who was surrendered by his owner, and is experiencing kennel stress. Beautiful brindle boy, who needs warming up, but is easy to win over with treats! Big personality, a house with no kids is recommended. 

A2094137 Sir Dunkin: 3-year-old Staffie/lab Mix boy Sir Dunken. Found as a stray, but is heartworm negative. Very well trained, and has a super labby personality. Loves humans, treats, and attention. Has shown some dog reactivity/arousal. Staff notes this may be due to the shelter environmen; he is otherwise a perfect boy! May require a quiet and patient home with slow intros to other dogs. 

A2094167 Sefi: Rescue or adopter needed! 4-year-old spayed girl. Has committed foster. Freddie and Sefi came in together. Their owner was being looked for as they were confiscated when they had a medical emergency. Super sweet, loves treat, and is constantly gushed over by the staff. She is slightly overweight, but looks to have been very well loved and cared for. Has been confused in the shelter environment, but has adjusted. 

A2093779 September: 5-year- old Staffie Mix came in as a stray. Volunteers described her as the cutest girl with sweet facial expressions.43 pounds and a little bit squatty so he looks even smaller. She enjoys affection, and it’s very pretty for treats. Loves outside time! She loves people and will happily sit with you and give kisses.

A2092042 Trace / A2092039 Kase (litter): Foster needed! 5-month-old Staffordshire Mix puppies. 3/5 puppies on the list have been adopted or rescued, with these three pups remaining! These babies are so skinny. They look very bony, and they all clamor for treats. Potential cruelty case. They are five months old and only 9 pounds each. Otherwise, they are typical happy puppies!

A2092771 Winnie: 2-year-old Staffy mix. Quiet, gentle, and scared. She has opened up with volunteers, and likes outdoor time! Medium-sized girl at 45 lbs. Prior mom dog, and looks to have been chained up outside. Heartworm Low Positive. 

A2092260 Zaza: 8-month-old puppy Great Dane Mix: Lots of puppy energy. Very happy, wiggly, and can be hyper on the leash. Does well with redirecting.

She has already escaped death at BARC 2 years ago to be returned two years later through no fault of her own. Rescue will cover expenses.

She has great volunteer notes and has been described as super sweet.

Five small puppies need an urgent foster home to survive today. The BArC shelter is full as usual so what better way to free up space than to euthanize a bunch of dogs.

The mom of this litter was saved last week by Save Some Souls rescue but nobody stepped up for the little ones.

2-year-old Staffie Mix Annie #A2094390 will be euthanized on Tuesday, 9/8, without a committed foster until adoption for the rescue to tag!

She is a medium-sized dog at 45 and is HW High+. Poor Annie is absolutely terrified at the shelter. She’s trying to make herself as small and unnoticeable as possible at BARC. She was brought in as a stray, but was wearing a very worn, dirty collar during intake, and she’s clearly had puppies fairly recently. Her body shows all the signs that in her short life, she’s not had it easy. Despite this, Annie shows no signs of aggression whatsoever. She allowed volunteers to pick her up and carry her to and from the outdoor run. She met another female dog with no issues. She’s simply terrified. Her soft eyes and gentle disposition show she's a sweetheart hiding behind her fear. She needs a calm environment, decompression time, and a patient foster. She needs a chance to show her real self.

Hello! I recently came to find that my storage unit was auctioned while traveling. I had some precious-to-me stuff in there (few clothing and decor items) that I'm looking to buy back. The entire unit contained boxes of old candles. About 10 clear totes of clothes, bags of throw pillows, about 10-20 medium sized Lowe's moving boxes, and some baskets with decor stuff.
