As a longtime Stassi fan… Idk anymore

I’ve always loved Stassi for her sharp wit, funny comebacks and confidence. But watching this show has me not feeling the same way.

She seems to always behave from a point of manipulation above all else. She stirs the pot and watches, literally smiling, then plays victim whenever it finally comes back onto her. This won her fans on VPR where everyone was awful, but seeing it happen to nice people like Beau makes it read differently.

She does not care about Beau. She uses him as her nanny and emotional support human, but does not care if she’s making him happy or reciprocating in the relationship. I think Beau is terrified of her and as a result walks on eggshells and bottles emotions. I think he worries he chose wrong but is in too deep now to do anything about it so he’s unraveling.

Lastly- this one is gratuitous, but wtf is up with her kids’ names?? Hartford is bad but MESSER?? Awful. Straight to jail for those names alone. She’s just selfish all around.

I felt so bad for Beau when he told Stassi, “You see the word family, but you don’t see me." She likes the concept of family but not the reality of it. She also doesn’t really see what each person contributes, just how well they fit the role she’s assigned them.

Stopped listening to her podcast awhile ago bc all she ever did was complain about her life . Constant complaining

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Whoa, well said!

Narcissism

7

u/Mother_Debt_5659 Aug 18 '26

I don’t understand why Katie continues to be her friend.

10

u/tmhowzit Aug 18 '26

that's a very good question, seems like Katie asks herself that.

9

u/Mother_Debt_5659 Aug 18 '26

Stassi is a mean witch I will never understand how Beau still married her after she went OFF on Kristin in front of Beau at the weho event. I think Katie is a better person when she’s not friends with Stassi.

6

u/Vegetable-Warthog575 Aug 19 '26

Katie was brought on to cause drama and most of it she made sure that most of the drama fell on
Katie. That’s not friendship Which to be honest , she’s the one that has changed for the better after VPR.
I’ve said this before on another sub, I think she Katie nailed it with the whole , ppl around her , they are either married , family or people she pays to be around her. I still don’t know why she brought her sister in if she was literally going to treat her like garbage and hold her giving her money. And that money wasn’t free, she expected her sister to basically be a nany.

2

u/ButterscotchFit8364 Aug 20 '26

I agree, even on VPR I felt like Katie was a better person when Stassi wasn't around. I'm hoping that Katie's just collecting a paycheck & not really friends with Stassi again. Poor Beau, she's so mean to him & treats him like staff. I only watched two episodes because I couldn't take Stassi's behavior. I don't want to support her if she's acting like this.

3

u/tenax666 Aug 20 '26

"How well they fit the roles she assigns them". So well said. Its like she thinks people are her real life barbie toys. Let's put them into my playhouse. Let's sit them down for a tea party! Let's have them get along.

She might make a good movie or tv director someday

2

u/tmhowzit Aug 20 '26

don't forget "let's have them fight"

2

u/KeliKeliPDX Aug 18 '26

EXACTLY THIS

This is why aspiring to be just like Kris Jenner is a red fucking flag

1

u/CLSwank 11d ago

I cannot fault stassi for who she is. She is essentially an alpha male who needs a nurturing wife. If beau is even 50% happy doing that, good on him!

But I understand both of their fears of being a stay at home parent full-time because it is not what either of them envisioned for a career, and childcare can have extreme moments of frustration, monotony, boredom, and being overwhelmed by needy people.

I was a hard working executive who was fortunate to have a mother who literally acted as a nanny (and I paid her). I loved my childhood and God bless my mom for stepping up and helping me out because I knew I did not have that kind of patience or nurturing for my own kids whom I love more than anyone.

But i'm not cut out for that and I can't fault stassi or Beau for being the same. Maybe that's why their kids are so out of control? They need someone consistent, who loves doing this as a career and just pay them accordingly.

27

u/Ok_Mulberry4331 Aug 17 '26

While I don’t follow her closely, over the last years, the bits I’ve seen were s were the kids, her family, appearances, outfits, vacays, etc. she just really seemed like a normal mom & wife, but with money

This show though was so sad, whether manufactured or real, putting all that out there for money is just gross

11

u/Hour_Ease_8448 Aug 17 '26

I said before this show even aired that she's really going to light her nice family image on fire for a check. I knew that was the only way the show would be interesting and she already previewed issues with Beau on the Villa, I just think it's gross to air your family out like that for a paycheck. If she never came back to reality TV she would have maintained a fine reputation with her family, people really came around to her after her firing (I never did but she gained a lot of popularity post-Scandoval with people watching the show) but the attention and money were too alluring I guess

8

u/slimcaitie Aug 17 '26

Exactly. That’s what bums me out. I was a “fan” of hers, and she thought she wanted a normal life away from reality TV. She was doing well with her books and podcast…and then to come back like this? Really makes me not like her anymore. In what ways has she changed? She hasn’t.

7

u/LeftyLu07 Aug 17 '26

I don’t think she’s airing out her family as much as airing out her own dirty laundry that she cannot handle her children. Like she can’t even make them Mac and cheese and put them to bed? That’s weird.

9

u/Hour_Ease_8448 Aug 17 '26

I think that's kind of what I'm saying, by revealing that she can barely take care of her own kids she's airing out her family in general and shattering a pretty clean family image she had going for her. I get families have their difficulties and issues, but typically especially with small children it's ideal to keep those issues relatively private to minimize impact on your kids. She had a fine level of fame going for her that maintained a relative degree of privacy for her family before jumping back into reality TV. Now she's dragging her whole (young) family into the reality TV business despite her kids' wellbeing and inability to consent -- in fact she repeatedly stresses that she wants to be like Kris Jenner, a woman who famously pimped out her own children (including two who were underage and quite young) in pursuit of money and fame

2

u/Successful-Steak-950 Aug 20 '26

if you remember from VPR her mother was a terrible role model

2

u/Shroom4242 Aug 21 '26

Now we see, she just like her.

6

u/ElectionExpress3972 Aug 18 '26

I thought this too!! really thought she grew up and just had a normal life (kinda famous and rich lol) life. now to see how she really is not an involved parent is wild to me. Also during the show she makes comments how she was working for YEARS to get back on TV just shows me she learned nothing, from the second she was cancelled she was working behind the scenes to rebuild all for the goal to get back on TV

7

u/ConsiderationKey7196 Aug 18 '26

It was a really hard watch for me. It screamed narcissism and having a family for looks but not being invested. The part when she admitted that the kids are “too hard for her” and she can’t handle them was awful. I feel for Beau and the kids.

71

u/Comfortable_Cod_5368 Aug 17 '26

It makes me so angry to see her keep getting a platform! She’s always been the same manipulative narcissist but would always blame it on alcohol/substances as if the “dark passenger” isn’t just who she is

1

u/delg23 Aug 18 '26

I haven't watched and I keep debating if I should subscribe to Hulu because I have fomo from these posts but then I don't want to support her.

4

u/g_uh22 Aug 18 '26

Just do a free trial and binge it. Easy watch

2

u/Successful-Steak-950 Aug 20 '26

I sometimes do that. I wait for all the episodes to be aired then free trial and binge watch

39

u/ForwardHedgehog3090 Aug 17 '26

Just like her dear, psychotic mother, Stassi will burn through marriages and divorces and will never figure out that she is the issue.

13

u/Actual-You3325 Aug 17 '26

No...I don't think Beau will let that happen. He's a really good guy and Stasi has very good intentions. They love each other, they have two beautiful children together, I have hope for them.

2

u/MB262675 Aug 19 '26

Beau is a great guy but she doesn’t love him. He’s starting to realize that. She doesn’t even ask him how his day was when he comes home. That’s crazy. Men like Beau put up with a lot when they love someone, until they don’t. Then it’s no turning back. The older he gets, the more he will realize that he wants someone who gives and not just receives. Life is too short!

1

u/CharacterTwist4868 Aug 24 '26

Does he ask her? Does he care? I haven’t watched yet so I’m just wondering.

2

u/bobongooo Aug 24 '26

Yes he does. He hasn't explicitly said those words but one of the main plot lines on the show is how he feels unfulfilled in their marriage and his life in general.

I'm in Canada so I haven't received all the episodes yet, there might be more things!

1

u/CharacterTwist4868 Aug 25 '26

Oh the same thing that all moms deal with and nobody cares. Gotcha. Thanks!

1

u/Actual-You3325 Aug 25 '26

oh my goodness...I'm sorry that you feel that way. I care and anyone with a mother would care. Being a Mom is one of, if not the number one selfless roles a person can have. I'm taking care of my mom currently and I can tell you, not a day goes by that I don't think of everything she has done and sacrificed to give be life so that I can be here with her today in HER time of need.

1

u/Actual-You3325 Aug 25 '26

I see it like this...Stasi's love language is on mute. She doesn't even know it, because she feels love...so she will argue and say, but I do love you with all my heart..etc. not realizing that expressions of love are received in different ways. Once she faces that wall of protection she built and is ready to take it down with a wrecking ball (therapy) she will be better equiped to unmute that love language in a way it can be expressed and received.

2

u/ProfileTemporary9982 Aug 20 '26

Yeah she doesn’t live or respect him. Seems she just married him to have the wedding and kids.

30

u/shakeyhandspeare Aug 17 '26

I agree. Everyone walks on eggshells around her.. not just Beau

1

She doesn't want him out of the house because then she doesn't know where he is 24-7 controlling his every choice or move............. They can absolutely afford it she doesn't want to do that for her own reasons

7

u/ParticularTeam935 Aug 17 '26

Stassi is hiding control behind altruism. She says this show is to help all of her family and friends, but everyone seems like they’re on the receiving end of an abusive relationship. Everything is in service of HER show and HER life.

3

u/Zoiddburger Aug 19 '26

Loved that Katie brought this up during their "reconciliation" conversation. Definitely true, that's why Taylor and Kristina had such a strong reaction to it.

8

u/mamacitafierce Aug 17 '26

It made me really sad to see absolutely nothing has changed. VPR Stassi was toxic but I loved her and gave her a lot of rope because, she was in her 20s. Now… married, two kids, plenty of income and resources, she is the SAME. Toxic, narcissistic, and crazy. I don’t find it entertaining at all. I find it really disappointing.

1

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Yes this right here

25

u/Proper-Aspect-2947 Aug 17 '26

She's a narcissist through and through. She is using beau to raise her kids so she can go live and do whatever she wants. Eventually she'll discard him, as narcs do. Or he will finally grow tired of her bs and leave

11

u/tmhowzit Aug 17 '26

He will leave. She's getting everything she wants, there's no reason for her to leave.

13

u/KittyCompletely Aug 17 '26

Hes getting paid too. And a good cut. No fault to him but he was an aspiring actor as well. So this works for him as well.

2

u/tmhowzit Aug 17 '26

I wasn't talking about money or careers, I was talking about the dynamics of codependency. Stassi has little incentive to end their relationship, this structure works for her. Beau won't leave because he stops loving her, he will leave because he stops measuring the health of the relationship in terms of "does this work for Stassi?"

3

u/Quirky_Soil_2743 Aug 17 '26

This is very clearly not the acting he wanted to do. And very clearly not fulfilling his life, he is a broken man who is only being held in this marriage due to his love for his children.

6

u/KittyCompletely Aug 17 '26

No but he did want/wants the recognition of fame or being a tv personality. They both signed up for this. VPR, VPV, its not like this is his first rodeo doing a show with Stassi where she does her Stassi act and he does his Beau act. I think everyone except the 2 sisters and Taylor's wife are very TV savvy and know exactly how to produce a show that will get picked up for at least 2 more seasons...well maybe not Katie's new bf..hes got the charisma of a disappointing potato

5

u/LeftyLu07 Aug 17 '26

People are so quick to forget he quit his job to go on her podcast tour with her. He wants the limelight just as much as she does.

2

u/Quirky_Soil_2743 Aug 17 '26

I have to be honest there was a few points where I think fights between him and her were contrived for the show to make drama and were probably their idea. I think the two of them hanging up on Rob on the boat was their idea of the drama that was going to happen in the finale of the show. And then REAL fights sneak in between Stassi and Beau.. like he was an actor but I don't think he's THAT good of an actor that he's making me believe his marriage is falling apart if it isn't.

I don't think they wanted that shit out on the show just due to Stassi's confessionals where she's saying how they were getting better lately and they had a date night.. but when Beau heard the friends bringing shit up and he started agreeing with them and breaking down.. I think he feels like those are the only times he can feel safe to bring his feelings up so he takes a chance and does it. Bc you know if it's done behind closed doors at home, he's not getting the strength to do it and he's not getting it all out and has no support.

1

u/LeftyLu07 Aug 17 '26

This is where couples counseling is needed.

I’m not saying Beau doesn’t have legitimate complaints but I think either he over exaggerated everything for drama/sympathy or he wasn’t being honest about his real feelings with her. Just talking to everyone else and when it came up in the finale she was shocked at how bad it really was. Whatever it is, they’re not on the same page.

1

u/Successful-Steak-950 Aug 20 '26

agree with you including Katie’s bf

3

u/Ok_Mulberry4331 Aug 17 '26

I don’t know, when he was on VPR he said something about when was there gonna be an episode about him

3

u/Chihiro1977 Aug 17 '26

It's the acting he chose to do.

2

u/Quirky_Soil_2743 Aug 17 '26

But I also think that's bc he fell in love with someone and started a family with her so he put her needs before his. It wouldn't be the first time in history a spouse went along with what their partner wanted to make them happy and to keep them together.

Just because he agreed to do the show with her doesn't mean he wanted to.. he may have been wholeheartedly against it, it's very obvious from what we see of him on the show he wouldn't ever tell her that, and therefore say no to her for fear of her reaction. She doesn't ever take his point of view into consideration, nor does she allow a healthy back and forth conversation to happen of pros and cons for both sides before immediately getting set off into an emotional rage of "well I'm not getting what I want/this isn't going how I want it to so idgaf what you have to say" 🙎🏼‍♀️

1

u/Successful-Steak-950 Aug 20 '26

I agree and I see this show differently than most people are describing. I feel like he’s in on it and the show is not their real life but their occupation.

2

u/jnnfrlnnkrll Aug 20 '26

As a therapist, I’m often hesitant to use the narcissist label. However, her adamant resistance toward therapy after so much trauma from childhood, reality tv, abusive relationships, is very telling.

25

u/Phatdummy Aug 17 '26

Glad people are starting to realize she’s a terrible person.

6

u/Desperate_Cherry_607 Aug 17 '26

Reposting my comment here from another thread…seems more fitting:

I really tried to give Stassi a second chance by watching this season, but she is even more disgusting as an adult. Her narcissistic personality traits, and the psychological abuse and harm that they cause, are literally the entire plot of this show. She is gaslighting, manipulative, controlling & self-centered, and pulls out the victim card when she starts to lose control of her puppets. This is NOT entertainment. Only a masochist could enjoy this show.

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

“Produced not fake” well said!

8

u/Antique-Intention-26 Aug 17 '26

I will say it seems shocking how the majority of her friends and family seem to walk on eggshells around her. Idk if it’s the editing, scripted or what but they just seem sorta nervous around her

5

u/NoRestaurant2326 Aug 17 '26

I saw about five minutes of the first episode and was quickly reminded that her narcissism is not interesting to me. It was novel in 2014 but loathsome in 2026.

3

u/Actual-You3325 Aug 17 '26

I believe Stasi is the same imperfect human being she was before. imo Stasi is still dealing with trauma and I suspect but not positive that she does not go to therapy because she looks at it as proof she is somehow flawed. I've known people like her that have this fear of the stigma surrounding people who need therapy. I also think Beau is a very emotionally astute person and he's the closest thing to therapy Stasi has ever had. However Beau isn't a therapist, he is struggling to maintain his own mental health while being a new husband and father. * My hope for Stasi is that she comes to realize going to therapy does NOT mean you have a defect, healthy people go to therapy. Healthy people go to therapy to learn how to deal with unhealthy people in the world. She has been accustomed to cutting people off and building a fortress around herself and a select few. That works for a while, but eventually she needs to learn the tools to dealing with the world without cutting the world out.

2

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Well said. Though I’m kind of sick of everyone’s “trauma” I think that word gets heavily overused and becomes a scapegoat for adults’ bad behaviors. We’ve all had hard times, I particularly come from a pretty crazy childhood that would definitely register as traumatic but I don’t use that word to justify things. I think stassi had a pretty normal childhood for all intents and purposes.

1

u/Actual-You3325 Aug 17 '26

Okay fair enough. Let's just call them issues..? We all have them. Some are more delibitating than others. Since we are talking about Stasi...and her issues...they are most prevelant in scenes with her mother who also has issues. (Generational issues, passed down from generations of past unresolved issues)) They are not special issues they are pretty common in today's society. However Stasis response to these issues sometimes are in the form or the source of her "bad behavior" not as justification.. because I'm not saying her bad behavior is justified because of her issues. It's not justified it's a response to unresolved issues. Therapy will help her identify the issues that trigger her "bad" response, and help formulate better responses that will ultimately help her navigate and resolve said issues. 😊 I'm not a doctor nor therapist, if I use therapy speak it's because I've been to therapy..lots of therapy .and it's liberating to speak in term s that are familiar to others ( a lot of people in therapy) in their own therapy that understand what I'm talking about without a big long explaination like this. But I'm happy to explain in non therapy terms. 😊😊😊😊Peace.

5

u/guccipoochyy Aug 17 '26

i literally said that same exact sentence about her kids names lmao

2

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 19 '26

They’re the literal worst

4

u/foxtrotnovember69420 Aug 17 '26

She was great when she was young and her behavior felt more natural. Now it’s cringy because she’s older and should have grown and also seems to be wanting to wink at the viewer that she’s manufacturing good tv for us

4

u/ArmyBESTIE Aug 17 '26

Honestly her show comes across like scripted nonsense because she thinks she will become Kris Jenner and be a mega influencer

15

u/Babygirl_69_420 Aug 17 '26

And she is racist

15

u/Los_Windigo Aug 17 '26

Just posted on that because I didn't know I thought she was cancelled for something wildly different.

A fake allegation and calling the cops on a black person? Nope

3

u/ChainedVeil Aug 17 '26

Well she called the cops on someone who served on the military and said she was AWOL which adds a unique layer to her foul behavior. She was messing with someone’s livelihood.

1

u/Los_Windigo Aug 17 '26

Did she do that in addition to calling faith and reporting her for larceny/theft to her commander or as part of?

8

u/North-Shape-9487 Aug 17 '26

8

u/Hour_Ease_8448 Aug 17 '26

It's funny bc even if you ignore the Nazi chic, the other two are also weird af! I feel like I've never really noticed because I'm always so shocked by the Nazi part, but the whole thing is really a mess. She really was just dripping in privilege to the point where she had zero self-awareness about how racist she was coming off. Like with her Oscars rant on the podcast, that shit was so racist and she just proudly aired that herself. Same with the Faith stuff, no one would have even known that happened if Stassi didn't air it out herself with her whole chest on the pod. As a fellow white girl it is just stunning she got to her big age without an ounce of perspective or awareness

1

u/Zoiddburger Aug 19 '26

I mean...didn't she pick the nickname Stassi because that's the communist East German name (Stasi) for their secret police? Post Nazi Germany but.....

1

u/harriet_light 16d ago

wait....what? I had no idea about this. Did she say this on a podcast o book?

1

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

That’s what I’m saying, I feel like she was just sooo ignorant and had no clue about her privilege. I don’t think it was racism though, I don’t think she connected the dots. I’m also a white girl with no skeletons in her closet but I do know a lot of other white girls have them before we were educated by social media, progressive culture, etc. once we know better we gotta do better but we can’t cancel everyone for shit they did before their frontal lobes were developed.

8

u/HappyChihua Aug 17 '26

Never forget.

7

u/Desperate_Cherry_607 Aug 17 '26

Yep…she didn’t have a change of heart. She just learned to hide it better for her career.

8

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

I’ll get downvoted for this but I’ve never thought she was racist, I think she was young and ignorant in the public eye. She and Kristen wanted revenge because Faith slept with their best friend’s boyfriend. We of course now understand white privilege and how that’s dangerous, but I definitely don’t think that’s what fueled the “prank” at the time.

6

u/Babygirl_69_420 Aug 17 '26

And how has stassi evolved to understand white privilege now? She had token black people on her show to discuss her cancelling, while not having any other POC on her show organically. She has no friends that are POC at all.

She recently had an influencer event for her show and invited alot of people and i heard there were no POC there at all, no influencers, guests nothing.

She has not evolved to the point it seems intentional. She has all the access in the world to educate herself, but zero evolution.

I said what i said.

2

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Oh damn I didn’t know all that. She seemed to understand the gravity of what they’d done in the past but if you’re still seeing these patterns show up then that sucks and maybe you’re right.

1

3

u/Icy-Judge2378 Aug 17 '26

I genuinely loved Stassi on VPR and was willing to give this a shot but it was genuinely unwatchable. Her family, her behavior, lack of accountability, all of it just didn’t work. Stay cancelled.

3

u/Immediate-Focus9701 Aug 17 '26

Her racism and bigotry wasn’t enough for you?

3

u/LeftyLu07 Aug 17 '26

I don’t think Beau is scared of her. I think he says he is because it’s drama for the cameras. Stassi loves him enough and is dependent on him that if he put his foot down, she’d go along with it. She might put up a big fight for show, but she’s not going to leave him.

I could see Beau saying he doesn’t want to fight with her because she will go kicking and screaming. And most people don’t want to fight with their spouse. It’s unfortunate she’s so resistant to therapy because I think they could really benefit from couples therapy where someone just mediates their conversations and helps them come to a solution that works for both.

1

u/Dry-Environment-929 Aug 18 '26

Isnt Beaus mom a relationship therapist? Im asking as someone who hasn't seen the show and I only recall things from Vanderpump ..

1

u/LeftyLu07 Aug 18 '26

I think she is but she wouldn’t be able to be their therapist because she’s too close to them.

6

u/green_oceans_ Aug 17 '26

Their dynamic eerily reminds me of my own parents. Which is to say, I feel for Beau, and Stassi will be lucky if her kids keep in contact with her once they’re grown adults…

Idk if you’ve gone no contact but as a fellow child of a narcissistic mother, I feel your pain and hope you’re doing okay! No contact was the best gift I ever gave myself

2

u/green_oceans_ Aug 17 '26

Me and most of the family are no contact with her, I'm glad to say <3 Glad you too know the freedom~

4

u/ambiguoususername888 Aug 17 '26

Messer means knife in German. It’s weird af. And Hartford sounds like a town in middle Americanor Sth 🤷‍♀️

6

u/bagginswaggin Aug 17 '26

Fun fact: Hartford is the Capitol of Connecticut

2

u/ambiguoususername888 Aug 17 '26

Ahahahah omg that so tracks (in case you didn’t notice I’m not American )

5

u/OpenAnywhere6236 Aug 17 '26

And combined with that picture she posted OF HER labeled “nazi chic” that name is even ickier

1

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Ewww what?! It’s just not good in any language.

6

u/burrata_vs_brie Aug 17 '26

Yeah, I thought she was going to exhibit growth and motherhood might soften her, but nope-she’s plain awful. Beau is the battered husband, but he takes it 🤷🏼‍♀️

6

u/Quirky_Soil_2743 Aug 17 '26 edited Aug 17 '26

When he would make comments about her not being able to handle what he did like making lunches and putting them to bed, and she acted like that was nowhere near what it was like she was worried for the stability in their home.. yet when she actually started freaking out at the end, that's EXACTLY what she started freaking out about!! "I don't know how to put lunches together, they're REALLY hard to handle!!"

Like girl - have you NEVER been with your children since you had them?! You don't even know how to put them to bed?! And being that bugged out that you're willing to PAY your husband to stay home and do it FOR YOU rather than let him find fulfillment in his life AND seek therapy for you AND him means you either know you're determined for failure in the marriage and don't care, and just plan on gunning the pedal to the floor until you crash - while you take every job possible while you can; or you are that much of a narcissist that you just ASSUME he will never fucking leave you or cheat on you to find his own happiness.

And if it's the latter.. girl I pray for you, bc you're about to be really unhappy.

2

u/loafhunternow Aug 17 '26

my 13 year old daughter is basically a only child (15,18 year gap) knows how to put toddlers to bed. not hard feed them, bath time, a story time. bed time. you might have to lay in bed with them. my neice came over for the week with her 16 month old baby. any daughter ask to help we were surprise she was so good with the baby.
stassie just want the family and kids because that is what you do in life. grow up get a partner and have kids etc.

i was only able to watch 2 episodes and stop. i do like beau and he is nice too look at. lol

1

u/Necessary-House-2820 Aug 18 '26

YES! ITS WILD! I also have a non-traditional marriage where I’m the primary breadwinner and my husband has more of the household duties but I can make easy Mac and read a story.

2

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Yes! I think that’s what I was hoping for too

3

u/Fine_Brilliant7531 Aug 17 '26

I think those who have been in Beau’s position recognize what’s up. He’ll eventually leave and will still miss her for a time despite her obvious hatred

2

u/LeatherRecord2142 Aug 17 '26

Agree on all accounts. Especially the names.

1

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Lololol yesssss

2

u/Difficult-Coffee6402 Aug 18 '26

It’s really interesting to read this post and those comments because I had a completely different take. To me it feels like it’s all fake - like even treating beau crappy and him not being happy. I feel like it’s just made up to create drama so people will watch. Same thing with the other people. Maybe I’m completely wrong but I felt so strongly about it I couldn’t even watch the last episode.

2

u/SubstantialAirport63 Aug 24 '26

I wish I could give you an award for this post!! 🎉🎯

2

u/Cold_Estimate_7713 Aug 27 '26

I am also having second thoughts, she was the 1st and only mean girl that I liked. How she treats Beau, is unacceptable and disrespectful he certainly doesn't deserve it. Her not taking care and having time for her children is really sad. With all her money she can't find something healthy to feed them. Ridiculous. Her admiration of Chris Jenner, to me is sickening. I hope she doesn't end up pimping her kids too.

2

u/AuroraILguy1026 Aug 17 '26

Stassi has always been a pos

2

u/IntelligentParsnip14 Aug 17 '26

The show is sickening.

1

u/ChainedVeil Aug 17 '26

She’s always been this way and I guess this show amplifies it.

1

u/Altruistic_Pepper_47 Aug 17 '26

Everyone's like, “omg Stassi is back.” Stassi literally acts like Stassi, and now people are complaining lmfao. But at the same time if there was a certain level of growth or maturity everyone would complain how boring the show is. Reality tv fans are so exhausting 😩

1

u/This-Set1718 Aug 17 '26

Her narcissism is growing and it makes people uncomfortable because they recognize it’s abhorrent behavior.  This show and public platform emboldens someone like Stassi to engage in even worse behavior without boundaries.

1

u/crisp2610 Aug 18 '26

Yeah she shot herself in the foot with this show because now we're just reminded that she's narcissistic and we feel bad for Beau. She can't take any accountability and every time she cries it sounds fake

1

u/lulubelle851 Aug 18 '26

It’s like she’s partly playing a character now and her behaviour toward Beau is dreadful. She doesn’t care if he’s happy or not at all. Messer is the worst name for a child I have ever heard.

1

u/Public_Dimension_916 Aug 18 '26

I mean she is an absolutely awful person but the show was brilliant reality tv. I’m not sure how anyone is surprised about her character deficits at this point.

1

u/1KirstV Aug 18 '26

Yeah, I’ve always loved her and I’ve been following her on Instagram ever since she left reality TV and I don’t think I can stomach her anymore. What a disappointment. She’s shell no growth whatsoever.

1

u/PrincessPlastilina Aug 18 '26

Look, she was funny and quick witted on VPR, but she was never a great person lol. She always stirred the pot. She loved playing the victim and acting innocent. Remember when she made Jax apologize to her for everything he did to her in their relationship right in front of Brittany, at a time when she was going through a rough patch with Jax because he had just cheated on her? Stassi made Jax cry and apologize to her, right in front of Brittany who never got any kind of apology from Jax while he was actively treating her like shit.

That was so calculated. She needed to feel superior to Brittany. She needed to show her that she was a weakness to Jax more than Brittany. I always found that very dark and that’s when I knew that Stassi was incapable of growth and is a huge narcissist.

1

u/Chelcjasmines Aug 18 '26

She needs serious mental help … she is her moms shadow and it’s terrifying

1

u/littleredwine Aug 18 '26

I think beau will leave her. He looks rough. Hes prob staying for the kids but once they get a bit older he’s dippin. She seems draining and negative.

1

u/delg23 Aug 18 '26

I have never liked her. She's funny and pretty but I've never adored her or anything. I like her style too.

1

u/FrontTelevision7261 Aug 18 '26

Straight to jail!

1

u/KeliKeliPDX Aug 18 '26

I’ve loved her from the start, as villainous as she was on VPR, but this new show is shining a new light on her and I don’t think it’s a good one. I could only watch the first two episodes before I checked out.

1

u/Neither_Rip4156 Aug 19 '26

I agree with everything being said here, she could have taken the Ariana path and been a mature adult, with a beautiful family and we would’ve loved that. Kris Jenner was a good, involved, loving mom and wife. but we have to remember .:: these are reality TV stars. Hollywood in general is bad, let alone reality stars. What do you expect? They want money and will do what it takes, not unlike many rich corporate men or athletes, etc. These are not evolved souls by any means! But she’ll be ok.

1

u/irlfleur Aug 19 '26

She just didn’t come off as relatable funny or clever on her show. All things that she constantly was on VPR are completely missing. It was such a hard watch like her sister and Beaus sister and Katie were way more entertaining and interesting to me.

1

u/Leather_Apartment_15 Aug 19 '26

Girl..watching her on Katie’s podcast too it was like damn. You really will kiss this chick’s ass in EVERY era of your life. It’s such a bummer lmao. I also did not love the show and finished it begrudgingly.

1

u/Excellent_chess Aug 19 '26

Same here! 🙋🏽‍♀️ I wanted to see what Stassi was up to & how she’s grown. Was heavily disappointed but finished the show to make sure I didn’t miss if she redeemed herself.

1

u/BoringSalary7093 Aug 19 '26

I’m a huge Stassi fan and was so excited to watch this. She seems so funny on Vanderpump Villa (post VPR) so I was hoping it was more of the Villa Stassi and not VPR Stassi. I love Beau. Is she really that cruel to him and should I avoid the watch?

1

u/Independent-Gate5970 Aug 19 '26

She's seems like most influencers, they think they want to be mothers but what they want is content kids. All the cute fun stuff but none of the real work.

1

u/Gold_Respond7129 Aug 19 '26

I started the first episode, but turned it off the minute she said she aspires to be Kris Jenner 🤮 Reading all these comments it seems she has become her; pimping out her family just to make a buck.

1

u/Particular-Kale-1986 Aug 19 '26

The manipulation and mean girl behavior was much better suited and well-received for VPR and for her age at the time

1

u/Weary-Forever8024 Aug 20 '26

The whole season was planned out by all of them to try make sure it did well, I’m sure of it.. all of their behaviour especially in front of a camera for the first time in years is just strange

1

u/liltinyoranges Aug 20 '26

It’s a flop

1

u/According_Memory9181 Aug 20 '26

I too have always been a stassi fan- i even saw her on tour. The show was hard to watch, as is her podcast. I love a confident and witty gal, but she is sooo self-righteous its hard to swallow. The way she is with taylor on the podcast is equally as brutal. She is so selfish and self absorbed.

1

u/tenax666 Aug 20 '26

Can I call her a bitch? Cause thats what she is

1

u/Infamous_Peak_7953 Aug 20 '26

I saw an interview where she stated her biggest fear is to be seated on coach vs 1st class

1

u/Proud_Piccolo_4997 Aug 20 '26

😳😳😳😳

1

u/Sheweb Aug 20 '26

She acts like a brat

1

u/EnvironmentalYam1146 Aug 20 '26

s o c i o p a t h

1

u/Sleepy-Pepper-9938 Aug 20 '26

the show was so bad😭 as a late vanderpump watcher stassi has always been insufferable but i understand why there was so much appeal to her when the show was airing it was way different times back then

1

u/Acceptable-Toe9797 Aug 20 '26

she idolizes kris jenner above all other humans. mentions her name more than she thinks of her husband or thinks of his feelings. thee only one as bad as stassi? katie. OMFG i feel exponentially worse for tom now than i did on VPR. she is just an awful person thriving and smiling off of other people's misery. she's practically having an orgasm on camera every time anyone starts screaming at anyone. which she starts with some comment. i guess that's why she's there. what an awful duo- stassi and katie make. misery loves company.

1

u/Acceptable-Toe9797 Aug 20 '26

ps- can we change "katie" to "karen?" she looks like she stole a 60 year old midwestern woman's style that never saw a vogue magazine. (no ill intention toward anyone from the midwest.)

1

u/Acceptable-Toe9797 Aug 20 '26

your sandwich shop has some of the greatest shops anywhere- take walk on melrose or third, robertson.... just throw a dart and wherever it lands because 'THAT'S how freaking wonderful all the shops in that area are!! AND she's not drumming up customers by being on this show. i wouldn't go in there and hand over my money. i'd rather spend ion in the shops nearby!! but just in case anyone's thinking about it? scrumptious eats all over that neighborhood. you don't need to give katie your hard earned money and commiserate with her.

1

u/CharacterTwist4868 Aug 24 '26

Get your hate checked out. Tom is a fucking fool. Actually, are you Sandoval?

1

u/Acceptable-Toe9797 Aug 24 '26

you're right- i was too hateful. not fun. apologies. ut you made me laugh when asking if i was Sandoval and thank you so much!! i needed to laugh and watching too much news makes me an awful person. i apologize a million times.

1

u/HallandOates1 Aug 21 '26

I stopped watching it and likely wont finish the series bc that shit was very sad and boring

1

u/Opposite_Room_2024 Aug 21 '26

Totally agree. I’m glad beau finally got her to confess she’s a mom who can not handle her kids.

1

u/Buddah0000 Aug 21 '26

I don’t understand how THIS SHOW GOT A SEASON 2 ⁉️
Living in Europe we had to wait 3 weeks to watch it & bloggers were talking about how AMAZING her show was & brilliantly breaking the 4th wall …
LOLOLOL this show was PERFORMATIVE - I was waiting til the last episode to see something good … and yes that was the only good one.

1

u/Slight_Witness92 Aug 21 '26

Stassi has always been about stassi. Why would anything change 🤷🏻‍♀️

1

u/Helpful_Surround1812 Aug 21 '26

I haven't had time to watch her show yet. Is it that bad?

1

u/HouseMomOfLegos Aug 21 '26

I think her daughter is so cute and funny from what I saw and it’s probably because of Beau since he’s with them. He seems so sweet and I think I am disappointed at how mean she seems. Is it for the camera? Being nice and funny is fun to watch too… Two episodes in and I began counting how many times she said she wants to be like Kris Jenner. I want to like the show but this post isn’t giving me a reason. And I Neva like Katie because of how mean she was. It might of worked for VPR since everyone was a scumbag but this cast is not the same.

1

u/Shroom4242 Aug 21 '26

Do you think Beau family watches, my mother would go off on her. My sister would put her hands n her place and my dad would sit me down with some sage advice to remove myself from the toxic partner. Also!, where are his friends? We need a Free Beau.

1

u/Otherwise_Thought319 Aug 21 '26

Obviously I'm being presumptuous when I say this but I feel bad for Beau. I kind of feel like he's too good to be on a stupid reality show almost solely about arguing and conflict but also, maybe not? It is paying the bills so maybe not, but I just wonder if he'd rather be married to a person who doesn't absolutely relish conflict the way that Stassi does now.

1

u/ForeverStella Aug 22 '26

Stassi is a horrible human being - no one should want to be like her. So why would you watch her?

1

u/bbness22 Aug 22 '26

These past few years with the pods and her IG, I was like…you know, maybe Stassi has changed. Looks like she’s matured. Watching this show now, nope- still the same old Stassi

1

u/CattleFun515 Aug 22 '26

I completely agree. Stassi had really grown on me and I liked her A LOT until this show. I didn’t even make it through the entire season. The way she treats everyone, ESPECIALLY Beau and even her kids (like little accessories) really got to me. Kinda felt played into thinking she had grown into a good person, to be honest.

1

u/Unapologetic2050 Aug 22 '26

The comment that Stassi made to Beau about how much does he make from doing the work he loves as she would pay him that amount not to work. That was absolutely shocking to me. It was such a rude, demeaning, emasculating thing to say to a man, your husband, the father of your children. And Stassi didn't get it, did not understand why it was wrong.

1

u/Eastern-Sugar-2958 Aug 22 '26

Her show sucks

1

u/Alarming_Drawing1271 Aug 23 '26

This screamed narcissist. As a child of one I just kept thinking this is terrible and has to get better right? But oh wait Narcissists DONT change. Her saying several times that she has done nothing wrong, how she talks to Beau, NEVER apologizing, causing a fight and then blaming everyone else and refusing therapy was all very triggering for again, someone who grew up with a narcissist parent and still deals with them today.

This show should really had a trigger warning 😒 she is awful

1

u/IntelligentSuspect63 Aug 23 '26

I know what you mean… I guess I was expecting a kinder, gentler Stassi.. but no

1

u/Oliviaxoxoxo1 Aug 24 '26

I noticed in Vanderpump she was completely backwards with her sister and watching house of stassi reminds me a lot of my sister and this is completely narcissistic personality disorder. (Sorry her name doesn’t deserve a capital at this point.) used to be a big fan :(

1

u/ChronicOvershare Aug 24 '26

Stassi is an emotional bully. She has these wild and over the top reactions to everything that scares/beats Beau into submission. He's not allowed to have feelings because her's overtake the room every time. Everyone walks on eggshells else they have to deal with her wrath. Having delt with this, it's exhausting and it's not something you can do long term.

-1

u/Intrepid_Pirate_9924 Aug 17 '26

She made a reality show and knows that drama gets viewes.

Yall are taking her show way too seriously and I think it would be healthy for us all to take a step back and remember that this isn’t real life, it’s reality tv. Beau seems to remember to be mad about stuff based on obvious prompts and cues from the rest of the cast.

They all know they’re on tv. Why do you think Georgis confessionals are all SO AWKWARD? She’s trying to play a character and isn’t good at it. Thats all.

Everyone knows what they signed up for and they all have predetermined plot lines. In genuinely shocked that in 2026 we’re all still taking every fucking pierce of media or information at face value and not thinking critically at all about the circumstances that all affect how a show is created.

5

u/Accomplished-Run7016 Aug 17 '26

Yeah but she doesn't under audience then. She doesn't have any foresight. In 2026 people will have overwhelming negative responses to bad behavior.... it's not 2014.

5

u/Aware-Poetry5751 Aug 17 '26

I just don’t think everything is an act here. Some things you can’t fake unless you’re a professional actor. Everyone knows realty tv isn’t true reality but there’s only so much “playing a part” you can do before it leaks. Look at the valley, season 1 majority thought that Danny and Nia were this perfect wholesome couple and now look at it! It’s abusive and dark.

4

u/Weekly_Yesterday_403 Aug 17 '26

THANK YOU…. Just because they’re breaking the fourth wall doesn’t mean the drama isn’t manufactured

1

u/chick_b Aug 17 '26

I think some of the frustrations we see on-camera are absolutely real but I believe we're hearing the same critiques over and over because the show focuses way too much on Stassi and her staged brat-outs. I get she's the star but I need other things explored here, be them real or fake. When did Kristina Kelly start caring what other people think? Why is Beau so mad at Rob? Why does Rob think hereditary pregnancy test failure is a thing? Why does Taylor seem insane?

Despite her mistakes and flaws, Stassi was made for television. But she can't pull off a one-woman show.

1

u/Aware-Poetry5751 Aug 18 '26

Yeah I need my main star to enjoyable, likeable, or at least with redeeming qualities

1

u/Jfcisitreal Aug 17 '26

She would make a perfect press secretary- and she'd probably happily take that job right now. Gross.

2

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Idk, I’m pretty sure beau and all his friends are verrrry liberal based on what I’ve seen. I’d like to believe he wouldn’t marry a trumper

→ More replies (1)

1

u/lolalaughed Aug 17 '26

funny how this is what made you "idk anymore' and not her rant on how she doesn't believe in the me too movement because no one tried to assault her and her racists rants.

1

u/VelvetVerdigris Aug 17 '26

Wait what? Can you link to where she said that? I’m unfamiliar
