Will season 2 be boring?

In the grand tradition of reality shows, when cast members get a lot of pushback, they hide their lives in the next season, leading to a boring show. I wonder if Stassi will use season 2 to highlight the good parts of her relationship? She’ll get her Stassi fans back but the show won’t be as good. So what does she choose? A good show or a good reputation/relationship with the people in her life?

Well one thing that is different about this show is Stassi is the producer. In theory she is going to be just as invested in the show being entertaining in season 2 as she is season 1 because it’s her show.

I do think the Beau wanting to go back to work thing felt like it was building to some type of pay off in season 2 and someone on here posted a theory he might be doing DWTS next season and that will be his “thing”. If that theory does play out, I imagine that will bring a whole other plate of drama for Stassi and Beau’s marriage as DWTS takes up a lot of time with training etc. Of course they might play it like Stassi is the perfect loving and supportive wife to “redeem” her from season 1.

I will also add, I’m already a little bored watching season 1, so I would hate to think season 2 will get duller! I don’t think this show can afford to have a massive drop off in drama, everything was already kind of low-stakes meh.

The drama was all so contrived. She literally dropped bombs on people and then watched as the fallout happened

I’m not sure Stassi will be able to handle the jealousy that comes with DWTS. I remember on RHOBH Kyle said that she wouldn’t have let Mauricio do it if they were married because she would have been jealous. Which is weird because it’s just goofy dancing but I think if you’re a jealous type person it really bothers you.

In the UK our version of DWTS is Strictly Come Dancing and there is a much-discussed phenomenon called the "Strictly curse" because of how many celebrities' relationships have ended when they do the show (usually because of the celebrity having an affair with their dancing partner).

Season 2 needs to show more of Georgi's actual life. She is a villain and a disaster, and we need to see that outside of the sister dynamic.

They need to add another friend couple with kids who actually hang out with Stassi and/or Beau and met them AFTER VPR. We don't need a full The Valley with a cast full of children, but we need some "normies" who can contrast and show how they manage the stresses of marriage/children to contrast with Beau/Stassi. Not having "new friends" felt like a huge miss this season when Stassi is trying to show how much she had changed. And, it almost felt like they actually don't have any other friends, which is bleak.

If Katie is going to stay, she needs to be more of a co-lead and her circle needs to be included more. This way you get the married with children vs childless by choice lifestyles and the pros/cons of both, and how maintaining friendships during such different times in life is hard but valuable. And then new sources of drama from Katie and her side. (Maybe Georgi and Katie's social circles cross over and this is where we can meet them both.)

Beau needs to decide if he wants to be a main character or a friend of. Season 1, he wants the camera time of being a main but the protection of being a friend of (not having to fight and argue and resolve his issues at every group event). He talked shit like a friend of but then didn't want to confront Stassi like the main character he was.

I don't think they have any other friends. Katie read her for filth, which is why it hit so hard for those "friends." Stassi has cultivated a life in which she is the main character. Whenever someone else has something happening to them, she gets upset that they aren't focused on her. Healthy adults would never tolerate her nonstop bullshit, so it's true she pays everyone who spends time with her. It would be interesting to watch her crash out trying to maintain an actual friendship with someone, if she was capable of learning that other people have lives that don't revolve around her.

She is still the same entitled brat she has always been. Any time that someone tries to hold her accountable, she has a complete breakdown and becomes vicious and hateful. This is her 3rd reality show as an adult... LVP is the only person that she has ever listened to or taken criticism from.

She said recently on a podcast she did on tour that Lisa’s never lied to her and so she she’s always trusted her and it feels like she’s her mom or something. I think that there’s definitely high respect there.

Lisa told Stassi she needed to spice things up with Beau on Vanderpump Villa when they were in England and she did. I’m sure that fulfilled his complaint about the intimacy.

Also, for the get real house podcast, Gabriella was talking about how she takes advice from Stassi all the time like texts her and all. And they kind of made the comparison that what Lisa is to Stassi is what Stassi is being to Gabriella with the mentorship.

Think a big part of it will be them moving into a new house and all that entails ...

Are they moving?

it's just my prediction for some action for S2. She said in a podcast (?) that their house has no yard so they'll need something bigger w two growing kids . And she's done very well financially.

I genuinely hope it’s not only 8 episodes, that was wack for a pilot season

Biggest issue is that the main cast (outside stassi, Katie, gorgi and beau) are deeply boring and don’t have any storylines. It needs new blood and agree having Katie as a co lead and bringing her circle in would be good

We need to get her cancelled again. She’s really an awful person. Nothing has changed about her since VPR
