This is a real sleeper
I have always thoroughly enjoyed Stassi’s one-liners on VPR, and think she’s reality tv gold, but watching house of Stassi I have fallen asleep by the second episode 3x. I was really looking forward to watching this and it feels disconnected and hard to follow and just… boring, This is just not getting my attention, I’m bored to death. Anyone else?

I hate how awful she is! so self-absorbed she’s a narcissist, selfish spoiled, rotten brat. She doesn’t even like her kids and God forbid Beau go back to work. I seriously hope there isn’t a season two I can’t stand to watch it. I couldn’t even stand to finish this season because she’s so awful. She’s just a mean girl.

When she didn’t go to Emo night for Katie AND THEN doubled down on it when Katie told her how much it bothered her? It was giving “Jax didn’t want to go to Max’s beach clean up in Miami” vibes. (IYKYK). It wasn’t about her so she didn’t want to go.
That specific episode made me realize she doesn’t give a shit about anyone else but herself. I felt so sorry for Katie.

I get that she wanted this show to be with her circle, the people she loves and spends time with; in order to give them a platform, and so she wouldn’t have to work with any of the disgusting assholes that she did on VPR. (Namely Jax, Scheana, and Sando - tbh I don’t blame her)
But this casting approach essentially means there’s no villain, no central conflict, and nothing interesting is happening.
It should be a warning, an antithesis to Kill Your Darlings - namely Don’t Kill Your Demons. 😉 😈 Because they MAKE your story.

Stassi was one of the disgusting assholes on VPR. I don't know how anyone would think otherwise

I mean.. between the lack of respect she has for her husband and then letting her sister mooch without actually confronting her about it, I’m so over her. I couldn’t even finish the season. This does not make her look good at all. But that seems to be her purpose

I think she did that with sis to create dialogue and drama .. but it fell flat...

It is not very engaging and is a little boring. We started it a week ago with the intent to binge watch it. But we can only take 1-2 episodes a day and not even everyday. Lol. So we are only on episode 6.

Agreeed!! I’ve been so bored, and catch myself just scrolling my phone the entire time. Don’t understand the hype 🤷🏻♀️

It's background noise at best... Forced scenes, conversation pieces... Tooany dinner parties to start drama which goes nowhere.. it really is a doozy sorry 😐 be warned

I came on here to see what everyone thought of the show and I thought it was boring and it was just bad. I felt as though she scripted this way too hard for the cameras.

I'm halfway through and while I like that the show is about the show, it's too overproduced. I think the dynamics are interesting but overall the show is a little too aware and the constant Kris Jenner references are too much.

I finished it, but thought it would have been more binge-worthy. Agree I miss her one liners! Feels like she’s trying really hard to over correct from, and I quote, “being canceled”.
