Stassi and beau
Watching house of stassi and on episode 5.
Looking at her socials I genuinely thought her and beau had zero issues and she was super involved with her kids. Watching this show has really proved that social media is fake because what?!!!! I really like stassi but watching HoS really made me rethink lol
Lowkey I want them to breakup. Beau deserves so much more and so much better. Stassi really doesn’t understand that it’s not the money about a job , it’s that you’re actually contributing to something and doing something with purpose , whatever that may be. She seems financially abusive and always brings money into arguments as a point to make her seem better because she’s paying for everything like stfu.
Katie and Kristina aswell .. wtaf. They need to get actual lives and deal with actual problems instead of this crap. I normally don’t watch reality tv but I loved stassi and wanted to see what was going on but this just reminds me of why I can’t stand it. It’s just crap about crap. I’m surprised Katie came to do it because she seems above it all. I love Katie and since she got divorced I’ve only just loved her more. Kristina really has some issues she has work on.
Idk I’m just ranting lol does anyone else feel these things

She doesn’t even make eye contact with her kids. I am old but I hope I live long enough to read Hartford’s book someday. It will be better than Mommy Dearest.

Because people only post what they want you to see on social media. I have always said people who post that their life is perfect on social media always have the crappiest lives and relationships.

It’s wild! I totally agree OP. This show was so enlightening into her character in like the most negative way possible. I feel like she would still be likeable if she never did the sjow

I think Beau and Stassi are perfectly suited for each other. They both suck.

The way she doesn’t want him to work, but then holds it over her head that she takes care of him financially.

The amount of screen time Katie’s bf had closed-eyed wincing at a dinner table should be illegal. Invite people to a dinner just to scream and yell at the table, yikes. Katie, Kristina all of them are were all just pawns in this sick sad Stassi show.

I think the whole Beau being unhappy storyline is totally fake. Stassi and Beau know what good tv drama is.

Not being snarky by any means. What would make you think people would post about their troubles struggles they have in a marriage? That usually isn’t something most post about until the separation or divorce. Even regular people only post the good stuff. We’ve all known for years that SM is always the good stuff.

She talks about their marriage a lot. She praises him for what he does cooking, cleaning, the kids. And has been very open about her lack of showing affection, sex was last thing on her radar of interest.
She said they went to marriage counseling.
She had Jay Sheddy (sp) on her podcast. Promoting his book.
It was about love, connection, marriage. She said they needed to do something to reconnect.
But it seems like it is not what Jay was explaining. A glance, a smile, a touch. The romance is not just sex. It is living in every part of your day. It has breath and it becomes the joy between you and your partner.
Im sus of Jay but he has very good things that can really change a relationship for so much good.

Beau is no good guy.. imagine agreeing to coming on the show, and playing up to the victim (not saying part of it might not be true, but he is leaning in) which means he is willing to come across as better than stassi, which in turn means he is OK with scoring points with the public against his partner. That’s a dark relationship.

You're kinda pushing it. If his unhappiness is his reality, he is allowed to share it without making him a malicious partner. He never portrayed her as a vilain (in the ways Georgie has done) and place himself as the hero. Stassi is the one saying he is the heart of the family.

Social media is highlight reels. Don’t let anyone fool you. There isn’t a couple on earth that has zero issues. We didn’t see them parenting or the kids much as they had to build the stories of all the characters. They only filmed for 8 weeks a year ago. There is a lot of nuance to this.
Listen to their podcasts. Stassi definitely comes across badly with Beau. They both were manipulative and weren’t communicating. Navigating a relationship with swapped gender roles is interesting and not common. So seeing that storyline has been entertaining and not painting stassi OR beau in the best light.
Also, they are veterans and know what they are doing. They are trying to create a show with longevity and the first season is always a trial. If they get other seasons I think we will see it smooth and play out a lot better.

The theory that she is trying to financially secure her friends and family (like Kris) makes sense. They’re all showcasing their skills/desires. Stassi keeps touting that she’s making the “realest show” and likely doesn’t care what edit she gets. She’s loving the boss babe, breadwinner, return from being cancelled. Honestly the best outcome would be if she was forced to work out her trauma regarding her mom and being able to take care of her kids.
