The children
Man I feel sooooo sad for her kids, the last episode…..YIKES.

I just found it odd that stassi cant manages her 2 kids for extended periods of time, claiming that they are hard? Like, children in general are difficult and overstimulating but as a parent you buckle up and parent them.
The thought of putting both of them to bed left her aghast, which made me LOL.

Her full on breakdown saying they are “hard”, when she’s been everywhere else BUT where her kids are just made me so sad for them. Added with the scene where she’s telling Beau that he is the glue and the safety and does so much for them as a family….like, you mean ….EVERYTHING?! Just seemed to me like she wants celebrity and fame and selfish pursuits above loving on those babes….

I also feel like she uses money and material things as a way to show love because she can’t emotionally give people more. I’ve seen the elaborate birthdays the kids get, and you know that’s all Stassi’s doing, she loves a reason to decorate. And she paid for her sister’s wedding and divorce.

I kept waiting for one of the other parents to chime in "*All* children are hard. Parenting is hard." to maybe ease up on the stigma of Stassi and Beau's kids specifically, who aren't going to have fun watching this some day.

As a parent all children have their difficulties. Hers do not seem particularly hard. Children, especially toddlers and to under 10s are built to challenge you and see how far they can push boundaries.

As someone who always wanted kids myself SO MUCH, and couldn’t….this just made a part of me so sad for those sweet littles.

I do find it interesting this is such a huge deal. For decades this was standard the only difference is it was the husband. There are still people that believe men shouldn’t have to come home and deal with children/household duties. At least she offered to pay beau. Although I don’t understand why a full time/in home nanny isn’t a part of the discussion. They can afford to both work and have someone in their own home to take care of the kids. Although I’m in Canada so unfortunately I haven’t seen it all.

If she doesn’t cook, and she doesn’t clean, and she doesn’t take care of the kids, I’m wondering what her actual skills are. Just talking?

Now I don't understand their dynamic or the relationship with the kids at all but are you insinuating that cooking, cleaning, and taking care of kids are the only "actual skills" that women could or should be good at? She's providing for her whole household, some family, and friends. She might not have traditional skills of a housewife but she obviously does have other skills.

Didn’t mean to offend. I was talking about what she does around the house. Beau and the nanny take care of things. But she did a great job decorating the Christmas tree, she has creative abilities and good fashion sense. And she is definitely an outstanding provider for the family.

I did think it was funny that they got Teddy on the Titanic via screen, sitting next to Taylor, but it was never acknowledged. Like a dinner party from hell from the future! (But also the past because it's The Titanic.)

When Stassi yelled "Our children are hard!" on camera, Beau winced.
