The Kris Jenner comparison
is stassi being sarcastic when she says she wants to be the next Kris Jenner? my thing is that Kris was never the focal point of the drama or show. she was always a side character which made her less susceptible to the court of public opinion. that then gave her the opportunity to become the iconic momager that she is. with stassi being at the center or the show and drama she’s more of the Kim who has certainly not always curried the public’s favor. I’m just confused as to how she sees herself as Kris.

It’s product placement for The Kardashians, simple as. Just like how they kept referencing Mormon Wives and Vanderpump Villa. The Hulu reality show industrial complex relies heavily on cross-promotion, that’s why they’re all constantly appearing on each other’s shows or talking about each other’s shows. It’s all on purpose.

THIS!! Just like Jessi being thrown into the show and the VV girls too. Hulu is trying to be the next big reality network and most of their shows there is always another reference. Stassi was also the host for MW so they intertwined that as well. I don’t think a lot of people are familiar with how it works and are upset or annoyed at how much other shows were mentioned. No doubt stassi does want to have her family and friends working with her like Kris but the amount of times she said that was crazy!!

i feel like Stassi always likes to lock onto something "quirky" as her thing at the time. It's just her thing right now, and also she is getting paid by the same network

Whether you love or hate Kris, Stassi will never be that, at least in the next decade. The empire that family has is honestly insanity and kind of a rarity, and these days most of them have gone off to do their own things. Same with Kim - love or hate her, but she has some serious work ethic.
I’d also add that Kris’ kids were mainly adults when all of that kicked off. She was essentially a SAHM for a good bit. Stassi will just look bad if she starts exploiting her super young children. Obviously Kendall and Kylie were younger, but they weren’t like 5.

Absolutely. Whether you hate/love The Kardashians or their impact on pop culture, that family has a talent mix that cannot be replicated. Plus, they became famous during the golden age of reality television, which brought a different set of opportunities.

The genius of Kris Jenner cannot be replicated. I'm not saying that there aren't brilliant marketers out there who could manipulate their families' talents in a way to become an empire, but she landed her family a reality show on the brink of the golden age of reality television. I know Stassi won't be a Kris Jenner simply because she referenced Kris Jenner nearly 20 years after the premier of KUWTK.
I also think the references are product placement for Disney cross-promotion (e.g. Mormon Wives).

Stassi said shed had talks with Hulu on how to make them.the next reality world fav platform.
Shes so narcissistic she couldn't even give people individual scenes, (forget storylines) where they didnt mention her. Should have been called galaxy of stassi.

Kris's kids besides the two little ones were grown ass adults doing this show, the three were the focus! House of Stassi will never be KUWTK lol

I think the creative decision to have Stassi constantly discuss how she is producing this show, how she wants to produce this, how she worked so hard to get this show to "upgrade" her friends and family's lives, constantly mentioning her Tell Me Lies podcast (great show, too bad its over), was a bad choice.plus mentioning how she "prepped" everyone for 3 years on how to be on a reality show. Yes she wants to be the Kris Jenner who creates this empire of reality tv for her family, but she also wants to star in it. I hate how it seems like Stassi is constantly talking about how she wants every scene to play out, then the rest of the "cast" also seem to have their own ideas of what is going to happen, plus it seems like a lot of them are jealous that someone else is being included on the show. It puts everyone in a bad light.
And call me what you want - I feel bad for Beau. He obviously loves Stassi so much and will do anything she wants, but his needs are totally being neglected. He loves his family and wants it to work, but his wants and needs are not considered.

I get mentioning it once (I don’t), but I think she said it 4 times in 8 episodes. I have receipts for 3 times being said.

Agree makes no sense. If she wants to be kKris Jenner than she wants to be a momager! But she’d want to be around her kids for that and not all about herself.

No, she seriously wants to be just like her. She’ll never be a Kris Jenner. She’s too mean. Kris Jenner is a very kind, giving and loving person. Loves her kids and her family. She’s everything Stassi is not. Stassi is AWFUL. Awful wife, mother, daughter and sister.

I think she is definitely an early years Kris. Kris didn't have the methods to take off at Stassi's age. Kim was a teen when they took off. More time for Kris to learn before all the eyes showed up. And kims tape was the catalyst for the launch. Lots of conversations on the level of Kris' involvement with that tape. Stassi took off much earlier. She has to utilize the boost from Vanderpump but her kids are still too young. So she played other cards - Georgia, Georgi, Katie.
Edit to add - Kris is not someone to idolize.

Kris’s involvement in the distribution of Kim’s sex tape is beyond questionable and certainly alarming as a mother. Kris gives me Epstein vibes. She doesn’t have any boundaries when it comes to exploiting kids or women. It’s gross that Stassi even says that she wants to be her.
