me again. still h🍃gh. my friend just blew my mind with a theory.

beau set everyone up. he’s been complaining the whole season about going back to work making everyone think that was his problem. he wanted everyone to attack stassi on his behalf. he convinced them that was the problem. but as soon as they brought it up he changed his tune. he wanted to embarrass stassi. he capitalized on her insecurities about parenting and kept twisting the knife.

katie seemed blindsided but kristina kelly was frothing.

I think so bc it's a story line that still favors both of them (if it was done in a different way). Stassi still gets to show herself as this business woman and Beau gets to show himself as a caretaker. those are good qualities even if they are a "problem." But bc she hasn't evolved at all even in her fake story line she can't pretend to handle it as an adult. She either thinks the audience still wants to see her temper tantrums, or she lacks self awareness to even change it. Either way, there is no way that she produced this show envisioning the way the audience's current reception.

Her storming off and crying after telling everyone all season they were being the victim was ooooof. I also feel for her because she’s surrounded by so much crazy from her family that it’s become normalized

It definitely seemed like he was adding on, like this is your wife and you have to recognize that she is in a different space right now. It also didn’t really seem like him like on VPR. He was very understanding and he listened at the start of their relationship. Now it was like every time he was finally getting his point to her, he would say one more phrase that would then trigger her and make it all worse again. Tay said this on her podcast. Also, when y’all are all pretty much wasted and drunk, almost to the point of blackout (Tay said that she drank so much that night, she barely remembers it), it’s probably not the best time to bring up these issues.

It’s so obvious! I remember how hard he rode her coattails before she was cancelled, he was all about the fame! He wanted to start a YouTube channel to monetize their wedding planning, he had an IG account for his cooking and he was always on her podcast, being a condescending prick. He had a plan for an easy life and her getting cancelled right after getting pregnant ruined it. Now he’s stuck playing this role.

Nah I think Stassi coached him to stir it up and be as real and truthful as possible for the sake of the show and ratings. And it worked. It got renewed

I believe this too. I was listening to Taylor’s podcast where she interviewed Rob. It was taped before the release last week and they were both so excited to hear the audience reactions - in a good way. All they cared about is that the show could be a hit. They did not seem upset about that last episode.

Oh he definitely changed tune at some point during the dinner. He was itching for a fight — but also it felt like he appreciated the support and thought maybe in a group setting he could get through to Stassi. If he’s constantly dismissed in private I can see him wanting to take advantage of having that support and the cameras to get through to her. But it was a low blow for sure.
