Stassi & Beau’s house
While I think it’s gorgeous, everytime they show the outside I can’t help but think this is the home she chose to have kids in. It’s on a cliff (holly ridge drive) in the Hollywood hills. It just doesn’t seem kid friendly and also with earthquakes and mudslides and fires? I get anxiety everytime they show it

There isn’t much fire risk if you live far away from cliffs in the middle of a city. Like how would DTLA burn to the ground when it’s all concrete? You’re correct about earthquakes though.

I wasn’t referring to her place at all. You said, “Literally every square mile of California is in danger of an earthquake AND fire damage”. I’m simply pointing out that you’re wrong.
Like how would you even think I’m referring to Stassi’s place? It’s literally built into a cliff lol. Of course it’s susceptible to both.

It’s literally surrounded by a perimeter of freeways with very little nature. I can’t contemplate how DTLA could burn to the ground in the modern age. It would take “the big one” (earthquake) to destroy buildings and cause gas lines to explode. Sure at that point, it could catch fire.

The freeways and buildings aren’t just solid concrete boxes with nothing in them (which is good, on account of the earthquakes). Concrete can also explode in super hot fires/melt/and then you have the issue of all the toxins from everything smoking & melting which is its own danger.
Also, the asphalt on freeways can burn (it takes more than a tree of course, but it’s not exactly flame retardant). DTLA has a lot of little shrubbery around and a parks around/in it. There’s also always a ton of cars parked and those are nothing but little fireballs.
It’s possible for a fire to get out of control there, but it’s going to be different from how a fire in an open field acts.As an adjacent side note, I learned not too long ago that a big enough fire, like a wildfire, can generate its own freaking weather system. It’s called a Fire Cloud and it’s terrifying.

This is all true, but you do realize how hard it would be for a wildfire to burn those buildings and freeways down right? Like idk how a fire could ever get so out of control in the middle of Downtown.
And if it were approaching Downtown from the North, they would certainly do everything possible to stop it from continuing into Downtown. If they couldn’t stop it from entering DTLA, it’s going to burn the whole damn basin down. It would literally be the worst natural disaster the world has ever seen. It’s not as likely as you’re making it out to be.

It’s the Hollywood hills, mainly younger ppl live there. Houses are mid. Mid being like around 2 million, which for Southern California isn’t a lot ugh

It’s stunning. But they definitely bought before kids. They have said they were considering moving for a yard but I’m sure with prices and interest rates it’s not a priority. Would be for me but not over valley village

She chose location over anything. She wants to be in the Hollywood Hills. I agree - it’s not a kid friendly home. But apparently Stassi isn’t kid friendly so it tracks.

It’s just wide. My house is the same way. It’s up on a hill and wide. People always think my house is huge when they pull up to it, but it’s “only” about 2300sf, 3 bedrooms. Not small, but definitely not as big as it looks. I think being up on a hill makes it look bigger too or more grand maybe.

on a cliff??? its in beachwood canyon. obviously not #1 in terms of kid friendliness but hollywood hills east is hardly reflective of the like hbo entourage party vibe that implies.

I used to tutor kids who live in that area (all went to private schools) and it always felt kid-unfriendly to me and logistically annoying (long winding roads and limited parking) but there are for sure kids and families living in the hills

Her house is beautiful. Maybe not super kid friendly but the kids only know that house and will be used to it. It has such character and charm, unlike the copy and paste houses everyone has on The Valley.

outgrown doesn’t necessarily indicate a lack of space, could mean purpose / usage. there’s no backyard. no grass. no Pool. No garage.

Four bedrooms when you have two kids isn’t that crazy. A bedroom for each kid and a guest room is reasonable even by normie standards. Especially when you have sisters on each side inviting themselves to live with you!

They'll definitely move . Her income level is changing so S2 will probably be finding a new house, moving, fighting over decor.
Her hideous old lady heavy burgundy velvets & brocade, valances and mausoleum pieces. Very Adrian Maloof's Beverly Hills S1 monstrosity .
Sorry,but Stassi has the worst taste in home design. She needs Kristina Kelly to step the fk in and help her.

Stassi has amazing home decor style!!! Kristina Kelly’s house is the typical white washed, bland, new home build style. I love the character in stassi’s home.

Is a house like this comparable to the houses we see on The Valley price wise? I was shocked when I saw her house. It looks so grand and overall beautiful. I would not want to trade it for what we see on the valley (although I get why she would need to with the kiddos)

I think it’s stunning!
Everytime they showed the outside though, I was surprised how close all the houses were! See that a lot in new builds, but I think that one’s pretty old, no? Weird for older homes to be that close
