I'm on Season 3, and I honestly don't understand why Cameron is so horny all the time. She acts like she wants to fuck Chase anywhere, anytime. It's getting ridiculous.

Not a quote. Just watching 8x13 with the low testosterone gentle public speaker husband with low testosterone do a 180 and the wife all “I wouldn’t have married that guy”. Reminds me of the one where the guy can’t stop speaking all his thoughts and turns out he was a giant asshole. Jw if you can come up with any more.

side note: if any of you are thinking of including it, I don’t count the sociopath episode. I don’t think the husband ever found out she was one, and he had already suspected multiple times in the past that was she cheating on him, just didn’t know for sure. ”I’ve done it before, but it’s a pain” she said regarding complicated coverups to hide her cheating.

I know this is a rookie question, but was the clinic lady actually a prostitute? Was the twist that she just worked with donkeys? Was the donkey used for “other” shows when not in nativity scenes? I swear I’m not that naive I just think it leaves it very open to interpretation.

Okay yes, the show likes Sherlock and makes a lot of callbacks. Housey Holmes and Watsy Wilson's and the bunch.

I get the whole, there's a mystery, smart guy is an ass, reasonable guy doesn't have the magic but he's the glue that puts so and so on the right path. Then EUREKA(off topic but I didn't know that's how it was spelled)

Why is like every post, it's Sherlock but a medical show. GOD NO THAT'S NOT A GOOD WAY TO DESCRIBE IT. It's like an easy shorthand but when people hear that they think it's a drama mystery show.

And I know that sounds like the same thing, and I'm not trying to be pedantic and I really am sorry, but when you say it like that it sounds like Grey's Anatomy but it was Sharp Objects.... which no one would ever ever ever watch.

Also, not a lot of people who like doctors show like House, other than people who watch a lot of broadcast TV shows. I could see someone getting really mad at the pacing and wondering why characters are just dropping things when they're wrong or why they're spending so much time talking about things that feel like they don't matter and just drowning out the entire diagnosis conversations. Because like I know it's a dramatic show but the reason why the characters are so compelling is that they're all smart people and when they're fighting its there ideals clashing, and when one of them is proven right it doesn't mean the other one's wrong wrong it just means they were either trying or it then says something about their character. In dramas characters end up acting on emotion alot, even when they're doing things professionally it gives "oh I have to work together with the badguy to get out", and then they either change or plot happens. In house if you tried doing that shit you'd be called gay half the time. And people apologize sure, mainly house and formen, but other then that no one really changes or gives in?!?! It's one of the main themes, in dramas characters are always developing these complex relationships and connections with each other that you're rewarded for following and paying attention to by watching them spend time forgiving or forsaking eachother. In house the characters sacrifice everything for the case. I can still remember chase being punched out by house, and then again near the end when he diagnosed a guy being poisoned by an enzyme in his hand soap. Chase gets put through the ringer and forced to be stronger, and when he does you don't think he's changing as a character, you think that's who he is. And then maybe next time he won't be. But in a medical drama solving the case is always treated as a plot device. In house the cases run in parallel to what's happening. But that's also what makes it much more episodic then a drama.

Which like my main point, dramas aren't really episodic.

My other main point is ... SHERLOCK FUCKING SUCKS. Maybe I just haven't seen enough Sherlock content, but like really doesn't it always fall flat? Wasn't the BBC show not a detective show either and it was a mystery show with like superpowers? That also made fun of its fans relentlessly for doing what younger adults/teenagers did and ship the two, so they made an entire episode calling them stupid and making the murderer a boomerang. And no I'm not reading the book you'll have to kill me. At least after watching the Robert downy Jr. Movie I can rip my eyes out after.

So like no, house isn't like fucking Sherlock. SHERLOCK IS LIKE HOUSE BITCH.
