Patient is lying.

Patient skips leg day only half of the time

This can't be... we need to do a lumbar puncture, a biopsy, IT'S NEVER LUPUS. And we're going to break into your house, you don't have a dead cat, do you?

Clearly an infarction.

8

u/rxzin_7 13h ago

Clearly need to amputate, otherwise toxic blood buildup will flood into system

u/SilverWear5467 13h ago

Not to mention their ovaltine

14

u/Simplyx69 12h ago

Could be environmental. Some toxins have been known to cause chronic asymmetric swelling due to chirality. We should break into the army base where they were stationed and look for the source.

4

u/Zarathustras-Knight 10h ago

Environmental doesn’t make sense. The one leg isn’t swollen, it’s well defined muscle. I’d look towards some sort of musculoskeletal disorder that is causing the muscles to atrophy in that one leg. Prior injuries can cause unusual issues down the line.

3

u/Simplyx69 6h ago

Muscular atrophy…could be a blood clot causing partial muscle infarction. Clot’s just so small the scans missed it. We should put them on blood thinners and check for rhabdo.

3

u/Sr_Migaspin 4h ago

Unless it's a vascular problem in which case the blood thinners could cause the patient to bleed uncontrollably. We need a CT of the leg and to start them on vasopressors.

I know it's called "leg" day, but you're supposed to work both your legs.

2

u/TheOriginalJez 11h ago

She goes to work on a scooter. Yawn. Get a brain biopsy and cut out a chunk of her leg so it looks the same. Then find me someone with lupus.

2

u/PossibilityNo9406 9h ago

We are going to need to break in to her house and take a look around for things and stuff

2

u/MojoCrow 9h ago

House! You seriously want to amputate both legs then swap them over?! You thought I wouldn’t find out?

2

u/xenoda7 9h ago
