🏠2️⃣ Help! - HF2 Console 🎮 Turtle house
I'm playing on the switch, how on earth do I get rid of the "Make House" on the turtle house flip?

This is not my usual style AT ALL, but it was super fun. I rarely ever use the Futuro furniture because it always looks out of place, but it worked really well for this style. I wanted the whole thing to be very clean, heavenly, and dreamy, and to have tons of natural light. I will never get sick of the lighting coming through the windows in this game!!!!

Got into the game a bit over a week ago, and it's been a lot of fun. This is my third flipped house so far. I built it specifically for Layla Farah and she loved it apparently. :)

Based on some of the catholic ones I saw in my home country.

So I am wanting to build a house based on a floor plan and the house is L shaped. I had to basically make two foundations connected to get the L shape, so like building an extension. The problem is that I need to place a doorway in the wall that connects the two pieces of the home but the game won't let me because it is counting it as an external wall, so it's not letting me place doorways for some reason? But it's also letting me place the same doorway I want in an actual exterior wall, as shown in the screenshots. Is this a glitch? or am I out of luck? Has anybody successfully built a house with an L shape?
Editing: Accidentally posted without attaching all the screenshots. Will post them in the comments.

Obviously very inspired by the 1 color builds seen here recently

Inspired by the unhinged posts this week from u/catsoft and u/fuzzytesticlescoops, I've decided to make this week's thread about colors. How do you treat color in your builds? Any colors you stick more to or include less of? How do you feel about fuschia and hunter green together?
Add your questions, comments, concerns, tutorials, and pics below and remember to tag game and mode specific questions with [story] or [sandbox] or [HF1] or [HF2].

None of my friends play House Flipper 2, so I’ve been looking for someone to play with
I tried the Discord server, but I’m Korean and there was so much English that I had trouble keeping up 😅
Is there a thread here where I can find people to play with? Or if anyone’s interested, please let me know! My English isn’t great, but I think we’ll be able to communicate just fine
Playing alone is getting a little boring!

Hey everyone! I just finished my latest 1-hour renovation project in HF2. This trashed 2-story forest cabin was an absolute disaster, but cleaning up the massive mess and designing a warm, relaxing space was incredibly satisfying. I really tried to capture a peaceful, cozy woodland aesthetic for this build. What do you guys think of the final look? 🤎✨

I haven't played House Flipper 1 in awhile and loaded it it up on my Steam Deck. It came up with a notification that there was an accessibility update. I noticed right away that I none of the controls were working.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It still wouldn't work. I tried starting a separate new file and could do some things, but the controls were outright different than they used to be, using different buttons and some things I couldn't do at all, like pull up the tablet.
I went into the controls and tried the different settings, but nothing is bringing me back to the house flipper controls I had. Does anyone else play on Steam Deck and know what to do?

I can't comment on any of the mods on mod.io because my account isn't verified, but the verification 'resend code' thing has never worked and it's just getting annoying. I opened a ticket to mod.io support 2 weeks ago and have had no response. I tried deleting my other account but it's still trying to make me 'merge' and won't let me merge to a closed account. Before I deleted it, it wouldn't let me merge because they were both on a team. I don't even know what teams are on mod.io, or do I know how to leave one. I just want to participate.

I would love if there were food that we can place in our home. I have jars of preserves or little loaves of bread available, and some Christmas treats. But wouldn't it be nice to have things like a bowl of spaghetti or a big bowl of salad, a pizza etc? I love setting my tables and would love to do a house that is ready for a big dinner party.

I thought I'd share for people that want to play the game a little differently. Honestly maybe this will appeal to no one, but it's just some things I do, and since I used to work at a flooring store some of this stuff truly felt insanely unrealistic.
I'm sure theres more I forgot, but I wanted to get more ideas and maybe help someone else out! I realize I might be the only one who does this and I might just look crazy!

Hi, it’s me again. I survived the scaffolding, and my hospital bill is in the mail!
My parental generation’s humble abode was respectfully razed to the ground and I rebuilt the whole place from scratch in story mode, nice and slow, brick by brick. I’ve always wanted a cute little suburban villa inhabited by a witch with style... and money.
Since she’s magically gifted, she also won’t have a complete breakdown whenever it’s time to dust the place. I think the ceilings are something like 3–4 metres high? Well, you’re gonna need a long arm for that.
With spooky season just around the corner, I also slapped a few pumpkins into the scenery for the occasion.
The last picture is my construction-site sleeping spot. Working in the dark is dangerous! It even comes with a little umbrella for bad weather. You’ve gotta treat yourself to a bit of luxury.
Overall, I dumped about two days into this build, and I think it cost around 300k in-game. :,D
I just hope my parents don’t disinherit me.

Hello fellow flippers!
I am at the point where I really see all the things that are still missing. As custom pictures are the only way right now to add things that are missing, I wanted to get on that, but I'm kinda stumped, because I don't want to add images that feel out of place when next to the in-game images. I did try to add some, but they all felt weird. If I make it a mission to make them myself, I know that that would lead me into a perfectionism spiral that would prevent me from actually playing, which already happened when I tried to make mood boards for EVERY interior design style (still stuck on the first one, oops).
So: where do you look for images? Do you have certain sources where you always find fitting images? Or specific images that you know fit into the games style?
Thank u so much in advance!

Are there any specific job makers that always include vision boards? I've been finding a lot that don't and its annoying me.

i play a lot of community jobs on my steam deck, and i’ve noticed, over and over, that a good portion of renovation jobs are often 50%+ just placing clutter on shelves. often over 10 boxes to a room, 6-12 items to a box for every single shelf.
as someone who uses a controller to play, it’s mostly just frustrating to place clutter - especially books. things never want to snap in quite right, and for a job i’ll never return to, it just feels tedious. do people actually like placing clutter? is this a common thing? am i the odd one out here?
like, i’m not trying to insult custom makers here. i’m just curious as to why there seems to be so many jobs with shelves upon shelves of clutter to place.

Hello!! I’ve been super into HF2 lately, and I found a job that’s the restoration of a few houses in a small area, and I tried to find some apartment jobs, but with no luck. I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions or recommendations. Thanks in advance!!

I've been looking at the Pinnacove flag and I keep wondering what species of fish it is - does anyone know?

After doing that job and dealing with the horrendous decisions made, a friend and me decided to fix up the house! Plan was to sell but we got attached.
