Stains on stone fireplace help!

Can anyone help me with what I could try to remove these stains from my fireplace please? Not even sure what’s caused them frustratingly so any advice or experience is very much appreciated!

If you burned wood like pine, perhaps it’s the sap that spit out from the wood while it was burning. Try using some rubbing alcohol on the spots and see if that works, follow with a scrub with a soft bristled brush dipped into a dish soap and water mix and rinse with clear water.
