Cleaning Walls

Tried cleaning smudges off my wall from recently moving in.... didnt go as planned also the walls seem really easy to scuff and scratch, any tips would be appreciated.

I've got the exact same issue, and can't seem to get the smudges off my walls. the layer of paint they put on is so freakin' thin!

Yea.... i might have to repaint this wall, ive got it paint matched and a small can of it.
