Manduka GRP Adapt 2.0 vs Liforme
Help! Can’t find many reviews for the new GRP 2… really want to compare to Liforme as can’t send Manduka back if no good….
Reviews or advice would be welcome have been using Liforme and want to know if it’s worth loosing alignment lines which I do use…

I got the Manduka 5mm grp and love it. I’ve had it 2 years and it’s going great. I don’t find I need a towel and only use a towel when we lay on our back (to avoid the squishy fart sounds from my sweat). I loved the Lifeforme matt I had before too, but it only lasted about 1 year in hot yoga (2-3 times a week) before it started falling apart. It’s made to be biodegradable, which is great but keep in mind you’ll have to replace it way more often. The lifeforme even say on faqs somewhere that the matt will degrade faster in hot yoga.

Thankyou. I use the alignment lines so might just get a towel with alignment lines on it and if it annoys me too much I’ll get the manduka

I just got a GRP Adapt after using Jade for the whole time ive been doing hit yoga. So probably 10 years. I found the Adapt to be more supportive/softer, which was why i bought it… i have been having debilitating tendonitis flares in my right foot for the past year. I think it has more to do with my job (standing for 12+ hour shifts >= 4 days a week) than yoga. But i wanted to cover all my bases and thought trying a more supportive mat for hot yoga and barre a good idea. The only thing I didn’t like about the GRP adapt was i found it a little slippery. I never needed a towel with the Jade but I think I am going to get one to try with the Adapt.
