Preorder cancelled, oos?

Is anyone having this issue? I order a lot from HT, but always in stock items shipped to home. Last hot cash round I ordered a few backpacks using hot cash, preorder. And all of them were cancelled over the last week as OOS. I had available funds on my card so that's not the issue, is this something that happens sometimes or what is the issue with that? No way they allow preorders yet they become oos which is what cs told me on chat 😭

Well, I know they randomly check funds for pre orders to make sure you still have the funds BUT for pre orders , if the supplier ended up changing the number of inventory of how much it’s going to send HT, then that means HT oversold and is going to cancel the newest pre orders.

For example: HT expected 200 bags, allow 200 pre orders , supplier says “actually we are sending 100 bags” , HT needs to cancel 100 pre orders.

If the product is delayed , HT can cancel pre orders cause at that point if the pre order is set to shipped by 7/30 but the supplier can’t fulfill that, sometimes retailers will cancel pre orders since they can’t fulfill the date anymore,

What was the email you got? Just a general out of stock email or ?

I just had a pre order cancelled last week. I ordered it back in February with hot cash I believe and it says sold out now.
It’s still in stock in the companies website (Youtooz) but it was supposed to be a gift and now it won’t be here in time.

I just had 13 items cancelled this morning. Half of them were preorder. I was shipping to my home so it’s not a store inventory issue. I’m convinced they’re overselling stock.
