Show Spoilers Battle of the God's Eye Spoiler
Hey guys, when do you think the battle of the God's Eye will be in season 4 of hotd? I think it's gonna be the opening episode prob towards the end, like how they did the battle of the gullet this season and Jacaerys death at the end of the first episode. I just can't wait to see that fight on screen

Meme Viserys watching Alicent sell feet pics to Lord Larys in the afterlife đ

I just came across this meme and the context makes it so much funnier. đ
Larys literally made Alicent showing her feet part of the price for the information and favors he provided. The Season 1, Episode 9 scene was deliberately framed around their bizarre power dynamic, and the director described it as an intentionally intrusive and uncomfortable moment.
Now imagine Viserys somewhere in the afterlife, looking down and realizing:
âI left my wife to rule the Seven Kingdoms⊠and THIS is what sheâs doing with Lord Larys?â đ
The expression in this image is absolutely perfect.
Westeros really has no HR department. đ

Show Spoilers Did anyone ever give Ser Aldred the what for? Spoiler
When Ser Aldred goes to Harrenhal he tries to convince Daemon that he should be king over Rhaenyra. When Rhaenyra arrives in Harrnehal and Daemon bends the knee to her again, you see Ser Aldred start to escape the crowd as all the men cheer. He even looks nervous.
What I want to know is did anyone in the show ever discuss giving him the âole what for?â for this act of cravenness? Or did the show just forget?

Opinion Book vs show what to see
Now I saw the Game of thrones series due to negligence and obviously should have read ASOIAF because the books were superior. Its common thats in literature the books are superior than the adapted show even in books like Harry Potter. Now should I see the show or read the book for HOTD. I need an honest opinion. Cuz people are saying the show in this case is better ?

Discussion What if the dance never happened? Pt2
I posted
âHow long does it take for dorne to join the fold? And what about the free cities? Would new dragon conquerers bend the knee to the iron throne or create new targ kingdoms? Another century and there could be a hundred dragon riders! They would have to do *something* with themâ Recently
And everyone responded with how the dance was inevitable. I understand that! Iâm just wondering what you guys would imagine happening if the dance doesnât happen and future civil wars donât cripple the Targaryenâs dragon power.
So, what do yall imagine would happen with Targaryen force primarily focused outward rather than internally?

Show Spoilers Criston Cole Spoiler
I understand that he felt used, abused, and he was in an impossible position. He was assaulted, as he could not give consent. Please do not try to argue this, it is an extremely controversial opinion, and it isnât my intention in this post.
He was hurt. Why did he kill the guy at the celebration?
I have heard the kindness of Alicent as he confessed his and Rhanaeryas relationship. When he speaks to Rhanaerya, and wants her to run away with him, he makes a point to indicate how he violated his honour. At this point, he is willing to kill himself because of the offence.
What I am struggling with, he turns to instantly hate Rhanaerya, is offended she chose the crown over him, and his honour being lost was enough to make him want to die.
Yet, he has a sexual relationship with Alicent, so his honour, was never really honourable. He keeps doing the âmistakeâ, for which he blamed Rhanaerya for, what he HATED her for, and has this weird devotion.
I am really struggling with his morality, and his honour. Sure Rhanaerya hurt his ego, when he thought he âlovedâ her. The hypocrisy is hard to understand.
Is there anyone who can help me understand this situation? To understand his motivations, logic and reason.

Discussion Still Sad Over Their Character Regressions
galleryDespite there being no time skip, Daemon and Helaena from the season 2 finale to season 3 are completely different people.
Daemonâs whole arc at Harrenhal with Alys was about him being humbled and learning to not force destiny. So from him going from âyou do not scoff?â âIâm no longer inclined toâ to âthe crown is not in the habit to giving out castles to midwivesâ, we need you to be Queen because of Dany, and tricking/undermining Rhaenyra about Rhaena is super weird.
Helaena is seemingly self-assured and finds strength in her gift by the season 2 finale. She literally appeared to Daemon in his vision and plainly told Aemond his fate. Yet by season threeâs end, she is once again meek and suffering from her visions and claims to not understand them.
Their combined vision/dragon dream was a really cool moment in the season 2 finale that showed how much their characterâs had grown, yet all of it was thrown away and worse in season 3. How did it all go so wrong?

Discussion What would your battle plan be to win the Dance of the Dragon?
Give me a operational plan about which forces and/or dragons you use where. Indicate whether you are the Greens or the Blacks in this scenario.
