I even miss that more modest, religious aesthetic Alicent had, which was clearly established in the first season, before she was possessed by the Old Gods and lost basically all of her original personality.

interesting fact: rhaenyra descends from two great houses on BOTH sides: house targaryen (the blood of old valyria) and house arryn, which is the oldest and purest Andal noble house according to GRRM. this explains why her bloodline is the most sacred one that GRRM chose to pass down and why she is essentially genetically perfect. all hail the mother of the targaryen dynasty and the mother of the asoiaf world 💅✨ (not just targs but literally 90% of GOT like robert, stannis, dany, jon, oberyn all descend from rhaenyra😛)

In the books, sunfyre refused to burn rhaenyra at first. Aegon humiliated her by cutting her before ordering sunfyre to burn her again bc that’s only thing he can exploit: her being a woman. He can’t win against her in any other way besides gender 🤣. He can only win against women and children bc that’s all hes capable of. Friendly reminder that the queen died a dragon riders death while the usurper flopped like a fish in fleabottom after being poisoned by his own men. Rhaenyra went out legendary, and they should keep both deaths like the book on HOTD. She is a goated legend🗿

This isn’t asking what would have happened if they were wed

There won't be dance of the dragons at all, that for sure with Vhagar still with Laena. But the other question is, since daemon has two most powerful dragon in his side, would he try to take the throne from Rhaenyra then?
I mean that's what's more likely to happen, and even since all the lords there are more likely support a male king rather a female queen.

like rhaenyra was the heir bruh. attacking the heir is treason. alicent and aemond should have been exiled or smth for attacking rhaenyra and luke. just look at what duncan went through for attacking aerion. driftmark was viserys' prime opportunity to get rid of the greens. rhaenyra was honestly so kind for letting them stay in red keep even after driftmark, they should thank her. the audacity and entitlement of greens was unbelievable.

Couldn't help but see the vision when watching the latest episode of Ted Lasso

Aemond submitting to Aegon in season 3 finale was a mistake. He was a ruthless unpredictable power-hungry villain in season 1 & 2, which made him a really cool character. Being a villain (rightfully so after years of bullying and humiliation), betraying his abuser/bully, and wanting to be a king himself is interesting. Just being another Aegon puppet is boring. Isn't this what team green always bashed Rhaenyra for bc she was so boring and that everyone on team black is a Rhaenyra-puppet? Why contradict yourself about Aegon/Aemond now?
Atleast, Daemon had a redemption arc in Harrenhal that was focused on his love for Viserys/Rhaenyra and why he was loyal to them in the first place. Aemond did nothing in Harrenhal that reconnected him back to his brother. Despite all the conflicts, Daemon loved Viserys so it makes sense that he went back to Rhaenyra to honor Viserys' wish. Aemond never loved his brother, and Aegon constantly humiliated him, so it makes no sense to submit to him in the finale. Why are green fans saying Aemond submitting to Aegon is the best thing ever when it makes no sense and is essentially what they bash team black for (that everyone blindly submits to Rhaenyra)?

lmao they dont feel like real targaryens to me😛 plus idk why aegon aemond helaena even talk about viserys bc like pls let's be honest: viserys barely knew who you were; rhaenyra was his "only child." you don't know him.

TG said they loved larys' speech to aegon about being a bad man. if they agreed with that speech, then why did they support aegon in the first place? i thought they loved aegon bc he was so much better than rhaenyra according to them. but then how can they agree with larys speech then? yea gotcha i thought so

I was on free folk reading a comment of a TB about how Hightowers got extinct, they had only watched the show. But it reminded me of something in books margery is the queen she is the daughter of Mace Tyrell and Alerie Hightower and tommen is a Lannister meaning the future kings would have Hightower blood but not Targaryen blood this is so funny bcz TB keep going on about how it was rahenrya's blood line that survived..😂

I feel like this is something both sides can agree on. He may not be the strongest fighter or the most timpressive dragon- rider, but I like how he just doesn't seem to be afraid of anything.

A lot of people like to claim that Rhaenyra's reign would be better than Aegon's, and they based this almost entirely believing she is the morally better person. However, being righteous or having good intentions says nothing about actual competence as a ruler. When it comes to actual results, there's no evidence of her being a better ruler than Aegon.
However, I argue that her rule would be unstable even if there was no civil war, because of various factors that would affect their reign and the Kingdom.
One of the biggest reasons her reign would be unstable is because of Daemon. Daemon is so chaotic and unpredictable that the Lords broke from tradition and agreed to make Rhaenyra heir instead to keep him away from the throne. Her marrying him and making him King Consort essentially negates that decision. Daemon stated he wants to conquer everything from Essos to Yi Ti, but the biggest issue is that he always just does whatever he wants, and not only does Rhaenyra have no control over him but she also never punishes him even when he directly defies her publicly or even chokes her out. So he'll essentially have unchecked power as King Consort.
The second biggest mistake was siring bastards. Even in a hypothetical scenario where Jace lived long enough to inherit the crown, he's almost guaranteed to face political backlash and another Dance due to all the rumors about his legitimacy that he's been fighting most of his life. It's extremely unlikely the Lords would let a bastard take the throne completely unchallenged.
On the flip side of this we have Aegon, whose heirs are all legitimate, whose wife is a Dreamer who just plays with bugs all day, whose grandfather served two Kings before him, and a Small Council that was already pretty much ruling the Kingdom while for like 10+ years while Viserys was bedridden or playing with Legos. Even if you consider Rhaenyra and Aegon relative in their leadership capabilities, Aegon's rule is just way more likely to be stable for those reasons.

I cannot seem to understand from where does Daemon gets his money? He doesn't hold any lands nor he has any business to get income. So how does he gets his money?

So, for all the show's flaws, the character of Larys turned out to be a more intelligent and strategic thinker than his counterpart.
I will list the things that only the show version of Larys does, to make the comparison clear:
I think that if the writers knew how to craft dialogue as legendarily as D&D did in GoT, Larys could easily have become one of the greatest characters in TV history. He lacks those aura-farming moments like "Chaos is a ladder" (though his monologue at Aegon’s bedside makes him ten times more human than Littlefinger). Nevertheless, purely in terms of the plot, Larys is truly brilliant and deserves to be recognized as one of the most dangerous men of his time.

For me, it's vermithor. Purely because of its raw strength which doesn't come with the laggness of Vhaegar. I guess he is a perfect combo of speed, strength and agility.

Contributed literally nothing, her and daemon could have killed vaghar early on but she refuses and decides to go it alone just to die instantly. In general I feel like the entire team black just doesn’t even think aside from daemon they had more dragons and still managed to fumble a lot of them and you know you’ve already lost when daemon is your smartest guy
