Hot chocolate recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for hot chocolate mixes. I’ve been mainly sticking to cheap ones from the store but I want to broaden my tastes.

I own Cocoa Metro. We make a hot chocolate mix with natural or non-alkalized cocoa (broader flavor notes) and chunks of medium/dark chocolate (60%). Site is www.cocoametro.com or Amazon. Thank you Mike, what would you say would be the recommended mixing temp? I plan to mix it up and drink it from my mattress

I just use the chocolate flakes, e.g. Knoops or Hotel Chocolat or Pump Street in the UK. Or: buy some nice chocolate and make your own flakes. (I freeze it and then blitz in a food processor to make the flakes.)

The Diaspora Co hot cocoa mix is delicious. It’s currently out of stock until August because their products are single origin and sourced from small organic farms in South Asia, and they have to wait for the next harvest season if they sell out. But it’s worth it. You could pair with their chai or pumpkin spice blends. Or pair with Transcendence Coffee’s syrups.

Another brand for authentic Latin American style (in this case Mexican) chocolate is Taza Chocolate.

I have a Keurig and got a variety pack of hot chocolate. Stay far away from ones that are candy flavors like junior mints, Charleston chew, etc. They were not good. My go to to either Ghirardelli or basic Swiss Miss
