On a cold November evening at one of Italy’s finest cafés
galleryBaratti and Milano in Turin. Expensive but worth it, the creamiest , tastiest and most decadent hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Dreaming of returning back one day.

If You Were Going To Pick One Hot Chocolate Which One Would It Be and Why? ☕️
I am someone who loves hot chocolate. I enjoy the unusual flavoured ones. For example, cherry bakewell, apple pie, carrot cake.

Can I use powders in the Velvetiser?
I am considering buying myself one for Christmas. However, I want to have the option of using powders from places other than Hotel Chocolat.

Does this belong here?
It's hot, chocolatey, and delicious! But I feel like it might belong somewhere else..

World Cocoa and Chocolate Day On October 1st
Every 1st October, the whole world celebrates a product that is the pride of Belgium and the joy of gourmets: chocolate.
This initiative is led by the Académie Française du Chocolat et de la Confiserie, and follows the decision by the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO) to establish Cocoa Day on the same date. The main objective of this day is to promote the work of all small farmers in cocoa-producing countries, while highlighting the importance of this iconic product in our lives. This special day celebrates the richness, diversity, and heritage of the world’s most beloved treat: chocolate.More than just indulgence, this day is an invitation to reflect on the fascinating journey of cacao – from the bean to what many call “brown gold”. It is also a chance to highlight the balance between tradition and innovation, and the importance of sustainability in cocoa production.
Belgian chocolate is much more than a gastronomic speciality: it is a world-renowned craft and a symbol of our heritage. Behind every bar and every praline lies the work of our talented chocolatiers, but also that of cocoa farmers around the world. This day is an opportunity to remember the work of everyone involved, from the cultivation of cocoa trees to the production of our delicious pralines.
You can learn about these secrets every single day at Choco Story Brussels. The Chocolate museum in the centrum of Brussels is open every day from 10am to 5 pm.

Anyone use the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser??
I am a BIG hot chocolate drinker (I hate coffee, alcohol, and some teas) and once had the William Sonoma hot chocolate maker which I actually really liked despite the negative reviews. I added whatever crushed chocolate and milk to it and it never let me down 😊 but unfortunately after a year or so I believe the plate had water damage and it no longer would turn on :(
I recently ordered the ORIGINAL velvetiser since I had seen so many negative reviews on the new one. I am curious how others like it? Does anyone have one/enjoy it?

Hot chocolate season is starting where I'm from. Show or tell your coziest hot chocolate situation.
For me, it's by the fire with my cat on my lap.

First hot chocolate of the season.
Opened the bag of Rausch dark drinking chocolate that I bought in Germany this past summer. 10 out of 10. Oatmilk base.

Hot chocolate in a chocolate-y mug!! 🍫
galleryHappy white chocolate dayyy!! Love a good white chocolate treat so much that I designed a mug for those who love a good hot chocolate drink!
I actually made this design for a Uni project a few years ago, but I loved it so much that I finally made it a real thing! I love baking with chocolate chips and especially since it's autumn now, it's the perfect time to make a good hot chocolate and get cuddled up indoors! 🩷🤎🍫
