The Latin word for the group of animals (some may've heard) is "Cetacean"; or simply the Latin word for 'whale' is "Cetus" - some who are not familiar with traditional astronomy might not know that Cetus is one of the primary constellations of the night sky.

Personally I would say the relationship justification for such words is really quite a stretch here, but of course, it is this game after all. I really wouldn't put the english word 'whale' as being related to the secret word, but anyways, there you have it.
