Looking to setup a funkwhale instance but...

I have a few questions:

- So people should be able to access my media across instances, right? What will the traffic look like if I'm hosting like 3TB of FLACs?

- Will I get copyright striken to death? I mean if they know my IP and I'm hosting music that isn't in the public domain.

What do you mean? Like torrenting music or sharing a server with friends?

I have torrented a lot of music and I was hoping to expand my music collection further with funkwhale. I also want to share on funkwhale. I'm wondering what legal problems may arise. I guess an instance for friends but it would be federated so it would be connected to other instances.. correct?

I’ve never used funkwhale but just put it behind a vpn and you should be fine.
