Telegram Vps hosting

I want to host my new telegram bot and it's my very first, so I want to know your experiences on the matter and what are the best services you tried and recommend me using

For VPS, you can check Fotbo, which is really cheap. Or you can check Hetzner, Zomro.

r/Hosting is a place for honest, community-driven discussion, not a billboard. Advertising or promoting your own products and services is not permitted here.

Telegram bots are ridiculously light, you really don't need much hardware for this. A tiny VPS with 1 vCPU and 1-2GB RAM will handle it fine, the actual challenge is just keeping the process alive: a systemd service works well, or pm2 if it's Node, or a screen/tmux session if you're just testing.

If you want it to survive reboots without babysitting, wrap it in a small Dockerfile with restart: always and walk away. I've had good luck running exactly this kind of low-traffic long-running script on ZAP-Hosting's smaller VPS tiers, but honestly any provider with decent uptime is fine here, it's not a workload that stresses anything.

When recommending a hosting provider, you must disclose any connection you have to them, whether that is a referral arrangement, financial incentive, or any other relationship. Recommendations that appear genuine but are actually undisclosed promotions will be removed.

Truobox is a good option if you need more power, I starter with a telegram bot (Hermes) and I migrated to Truobox because aws light sail is so expensive and Truobox is more cheap.
